500 Slots for Free Online (Distance Learning) Courses in Technology. Sign Up Now and Learn Programming and Data Science!
The Government of Maranhão, through the Secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation (SECTI) and FAPEMA, launched Announcement 07/2024 of the Trilhas Inova 2B Program, which aims to train young people and adults in technology fields. The program offers 500 slots in free courses for residents of Maranhão interested in developing technical skills in areas such as programming, design, and data science.
Objective of the Free Courses and Workload
The main objective of Trilhas Inova 2B is to equip participants with technological and interpersonal skills, preparing them for the job market, both locally and globally. The program will be conducted online (distance learning), with a total workload of 400 hours, distributed over 20 weeks. During the course, students will participate in classes, workshops, hands-on activities, and mentoring, as well as practical challenges and the creation of a personal portfolio.
Available Slots and Locations of Offer
There are 500 slots available for the free courses aimed at residents of Maranhão. The course will be conducted online (distance learning), allowing people from any location in the state to participate. The learning paths cover areas such as Front-end Programming, Back-end Programming, Game Programming, User Experience Design, and Data Science, along with a complementary path on careers.

Selection Process
The selection process for the free online courses (distance learning) will take place in a single phase, through an online test that will assess general and specific knowledge of the path chosen by the candidate. There will be a reservation of slots for affirmative actions, ensuring greater inclusion. The 500 candidates with the highest scores who meet the documentary requirements will be approved. The test will consist of questions on Logic, Portuguese, English, and specific knowledge of the path.
Enrollment Requirements
To enroll, the candidate must be at least 16 years old, have completed or be currently enrolled in high school, and reside in the state of Maranhão. It is also necessary to have a computer with internet access to follow online activities. The participant must dedicate at least 8 hours a week to the program and must not have been selected in previous editions of Trilhas Inova.

Enrollment must be completed by October 18, 2024, through the official website of the Inova Maranhão Program.
