600 Temporary Positions for Lifeguards; Selected Candidates Will Receive Three Weeks of Training by the Fire Department of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo

Applications are open to fill 600 positions for elementary education with no experience required in the role of Lifeguard, for a fixed term. The opportunities are for the Safe Beach Operation 2021-22 of the Fire Department of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo, and selected candidates will receive appropriate training courses. Applications will be accepted until October 31, see below for the requirements.

Requirements: To participate in the selection process, candidates (male or female) must be at least 18 years old, be up to date with their electoral obligations, have completed elementary education, be in good physical and mental health, have specific physical aptitude, and have no criminal record, among other requirements set forth in the announcement.

The work schedule will be 40 hours per week, and the salary for this position is R$ 1,290.66, plus benefits for transportation and meal allowances.

There will be stages and training lasting three weeks, to be attended by candidates who pass the selection. The duration of the contract resulting from this selection process will be a maximum of five months, while the selection is valid for six months from the publication of the final result.

About the Selection Process:

Approval of the application, subject to analysis of documentation and presentation of a medical certificate,
Documentation analysis,
Conducting practical skills tests, which are eliminatory,
Social investigation.
The Skills Tests will consist of the following modalities: Running/walking a distance of 1,000 meters, within a maximum time of 8 minutes, and swimming 200 meters in a pool, within a maximum time of 6 minutes.
