The IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) opened on Wednesday, 14, applications for positions in a new contest for the 2022 Census. Of the 8,230 positions offered, 7,795 are for enumerators and 435 for municipal census agents or supervisors. The application deadline is Friday, 16.

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics is a public institute of the Brazilian federal administration created in 1934 and established in 1936 under the name National Institute of Statistics; its founder and great supporter was the statistician Mário Augusto Teixeira de Freitas. The current name dates back to 1938.

- For the Census Agent Positions: The contract for the census agents is expected to last five months. The remuneration offered is R$1,700 for supervisors and R$2,100 for municipal agents.
Applications for the IBGE Contest
The selection of positions for the IBGE contest will occur through a title analysis, covering the academic qualifications of the candidates. Applications must be made on the IBGE website and there will be no application fee.
Candidates with completed elementary education can apply for the enumerator positions. For the census agent and supervisor positions, completion of secondary education is required.
In Ceará, there are five positions offered only for the role of enumerator, distributed in the following municipalities:
- Aracoiaba – 1 position.
- Jaguaretama – 1 position.
- Milhã – 1 position.
- Pedra Branca – 1 position.
- Russas – 1 position.
Other contests with open positions: 366 positions for secondary and higher education with a salary of 6,000 reais; the DETRAN contest has a scheduled date.
The Detran DF announced the edital for the new contest, published on Friday, 09. The edital for the Department of Transit of the Federal District is offering 366 positions, being 240 for Traffic Activities Technician and 126 for Traffic Activities Analyst.
Applications for the Detran DF contest will be open until November 8, 2022, and can be made through the website. The application fee ranges from R$80.00 to R$90.00, depending on the position. The exams will take place on December 11, 2022.
Remuneration and Benefits Offered by Detran DF
According to the edital of the Detran DF contest, the remunerations for the offered positions are:
- Traffic Activities Technician: R$4,650.00;
- Traffic Activities Analyst: R$6,437.50.
All positions offered by the Detran include additional Career Gratifications, Food Assistance, and Transportation.
Applications for the Detran-DF Contest
Those interested in participating in the contest positions can apply from 10:00 AM on October 10 until 11:00 PM on November 8, 2022, through the website. The application fee varies, being R$80.00 for secondary education and R$90.00 for higher education.
Stages of the Detran DF Contest
The Detran-DF contest will have the following stages;
- Objective Test of the Detran DF Contest:
The objective tests of the Detran contest will be held on the likely date of December 11, 2022. The objective tests will be applied at distinct times for the Analyst and Technician positions, according to the schedules that will be published in the Convocation Edital for the contest tests.
The duration of this stage of the objective test, including time for reading instructions, fingerprint collection, and filling out the Answer Sheets, will be 4 hours for the Traffic Activities Technician objective test and 4 hours and 30 minutes for the Traffic Activities Analyst, objective and discursive tests.
Discursive Test of the Detran DF Contest
Only the Discursive Tests for the Traffic Activities Analyst position will be corrected for candidates who qualify in the Objective Test and are classified within the limit.
The Discursive Test will be eliminatory and classificatory and will be evaluated on a scale of 0 to 30 points, considering a candidate qualified who scores equal to or above 15 points.
It is important to emphasize that this stage will be conducted on the same day and time as the Objective Test, December 11, 2022, and will consist of one question on specific knowledge; for the development of the Discursive Test, the candidate must write at least 15 and a maximum of 20 lines.
