Applications for the New EPCAR Contest Are Open. Compete for a Career in the Air Force and Apply Now!

The Aeronautics contest has 150 open positions for the Preparatory Course for Air Cadets (EPCAR), starting in 2026, according to the JC Concursos website. If you are between 15 and 18 years old, have completed elementary school, and dream of a career in the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), this is your chance!

Preparatory Course – EPCAR

During the 3 years of the course at the Preparatory School for Air Cadets (Barbacena-MG), students will have:

✅ High School Education with military instruction.
✅ Starting Salary around R$ 1,400.
✅ Benefits such as meals, lodging, uniform, medical and dental assistance.

After graduation, students will be eligible to apply for a position in the Officer Aviation Training Course (CFOAV) at the Air Force Academy (AFA).

Stages and Important Information for the Aeronautics Contest

Written Exams – June 22, 2025:

Subjects: Portuguese Language, English Language, Mathematics, and Essay.
The exams will be held in 17 cities across Brazil.

Other stages:

Health Inspection
Psychological Evaluation
Physical Test
These stages will take place between August and November 2025.

Enrollment and Course Start:
January 10, 2026 – The course will last for 3 years in a boarding system, starting a military career!

Registration for the Aeronautics Contest

Registration for the EPCAR Aeronautics contest can be made from March 6 to March 26, 2025, with a registration fee of R$ 100, with the possibility of requesting a waiver.
