How to Know If the Family Was Approved for Bolsa Família?
The consultation can be done in different ways, quickly and easily. Families registered in Cadúnico can check approval using their CPF or NIS.

In September, the release of the list of approved individuals will occur starting on the 9th, when the payroll for the previous month is closed.

What to Do to Unlock the Bolsa Família Card?

Enrollment in Bolsa Família in 2025: How Does It Work?

The registration is done at the Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS) or at municipal service points. It is necessary to present documents for all family members.

Income Rules

Furthermore, MDS has also updated the rules for registration in Cadastro Único, expanding the accepted income brackets.
Currently, the following can register:
- Families with a monthly income of up to half the minimum wage per person (R$ 759)
- Families with a monthly income greater than half the minimum wage per person but linked to government social programs
- People in a homeless situation, with or without family
- People living alone, provided they meet the income criteria

One of the main factors that determine the permanence in Bolsa Família is the updating of data.
Address, family composition, and income must be correct and reviewed every two years. Without this update, there is a risk of blocking or exclusion from the program.
The cross-checking of information is conducted periodically by the government, ensuring that only families in vulnerable situations continue to receive.
