Chevrolet 2025 Lineup Arrives with Five New Releases in Brazil; Tracker and Onix Stand Out
Chevrolet has just announced, at a private event in São Caetano do Sul, the five new models that will be launched in Brazil in 2025. The revelation marks the beginning of the second half with a strategic offensive from the automaker, which celebrates 100 years of operation in the country and is now focused on renewal, technology, and electrification to remain relevant in the national market.
Among the highlights is the new generation of the Tracker SUV, the revamped Onix and Onix Plus, as well as two 100% electric models focused on accessibility: the Spark EUV and the Captiva EV. The simultaneous presentation of the five cars symbolizes the brand’s commitment to a more modern, competitive portfolio aligned with global trends.

Tracker 2026 Leads the Launches with a More Robust Look
The first model to arrive at dealerships will be the Chevrolet Tracker 2026, which debuts by the end of July with significant visual changes and internal improvements. The compact SUV, one of the best sellers in the country, gained a more muscular look, a new front grille, and an updated technology package, including a state-of-the-art multimedia center, driving assistants, and improvements in engine efficiency.

Onix 2026 and Onix Plus Remain Best Sellers with a New Look
Next up will be the duo Onix and Onix Plus, also in the 2026 version. Both have been redesigned externally and refined internally, maintaining their focus on value for money and connectivity — factors that placed them among the best-selling cars in Brazil in recent years. According to the automaker, the updated versions continue to emphasize efficient engines and low consumption, along with new colors and improvements in interior finishes.

Spark EUV and Captiva EV: The New Affordable Electric Models from Chevrolet
But the big news comes from the two electric models that will debut in the Brazilian market this year: the compact Chevrolet Spark EUV, arriving in the third quarter, and the new Captiva EV, with a launch scheduled for the end of the year.
The Spark EUV is an electric version of the compact hatchback with an urban touch and low cost, developed to be the brand’s entry point into the world of electric cars. The Captiva EV revives a familiar name for the Brazilian audience, now with a totally different proposal: a medium-sized 100% electric SUV with an imposing design and autonomy comparable to premium rivals, but with a more competitive price.

A New Investment Cycle to Maintain Leadership
According to Santiago Chamorro, President of GM South America, the company’s plan is to expand the offering of electric vehicles without neglecting the best-selling models in the portfolio. “We want to offer exactly what Brazilian consumers value: smart design, innovative technology, and great performance. All this backed by a reliable brand and our dealer network,” he stated during the event.
The five models are part of an investment plan by GM in Brazil between 2024 and 2028, which includes factory modernization, development of new propulsion systems, and expansion into new business areas. With nearly 20 million vehicles produced in the country throughout its century-long history, Chevrolet bets on the combination of tradition and innovation to maintain its position among market leaders.
