China's RT-G Robot: The Incredible 125kg Sphere That Patrols at 35km/h and Takes 4-Ton Impacts to Hunt Down Criminals
Weighing 125 kg, reaching a speed of 35 km/h and carrying a resistance of 4 tons, China's RT-G robot is revolutionizing public safety in major Chinese cities with advanced artificial intelligence.

A new robot from China is revolutionizing public safety with advanced artificial intelligence.

China is launching a revolution in public safety with the RT-G robot. This spherical, artificially intelligent robot is patrolling the streets of several cities, bringing a futuristic mix of technology and policing that looks like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.

Developed by Logon Technology, the RT-G makes part of a larger effort to modernize Chinese police forces. Previously, Deep Robotics had already introduced Lynx, a hybrid quadruped robot capable of overcoming obstacles and climbing stairs up to 80 centimeters high. With RT-G, China’s robot raises the bar even higher in the integration of advanced robotics and law enforcement, reaffirming China’s leadership in this field.

Cutting-edge technology in a compact format

The RT-G, with its spherical design and weighing 125 kilograms, impresses with both its appearance and its functionality. This robot from China can reach speeds of up to 35 km/h, both on land and in water, and its robust structure can withstand impacts of up to four tons.

Powered by artificial intelligence, the RT-G operates completely autonomously, bringing features that seem to have come straight out of a science fiction script.

Advanced tools for surveillance and action

Equipped with facial recognition systems, China’s RT-G robot can identify suspects in real time and detect suspicious behavior. RT-G has an arsenal of tools to ensure security: tear gas emitters, a siren capable of reproducing extremely powerful sound waves, and even a gun that can trap suspects in a net. These features make RT-G an intimidating and efficient presence on the streets, helping authorities fight crime in innovative ways.

The introduction of RT-G marks a new era for public safety in China, combining cutting-edge technology with the growing need to keep cities safe. With China’s robots leading this transformation, the future of law enforcement looks more technological and automated than ever before.
