Engine and Performance: Boreal More Powerful, Kicks More Economical

The Renault Boreal features a 1.3 turbo four-cylinder flex engine, delivering 163 hp and 27.5 kgfm of torque.

The Nissan Kicks, on the other hand, comes with a 1.0 turbo three-cylinder flex engine, producing 125 hp and 22.4 kgfm of torque. Both have a six-speed dual-clutch automated transmission.

In fuel consumption, the Kicks proves to be more economical. With ethanol, it achieves 8.3 km/l in the city and 9.9 km/l on the highway, while the Boreal registers 7.8 km/l in the city and 9.4 km/l on the highway.

With gasoline, the Nissan reaches 11.7 km/l in the city and 14.3 km/l on the highway, surpassing the 11.2 km/l and 13.6 km/l of the Boreal.

In terms of trunk capacity, the Boreal holds 522 liters, while the Kicks accommodates 445 liters.

The French model also has greater ground clearance (21.3 cm versus 20 cm of the Kicks) and a larger tank (50 liters compared to 48 liters), although the higher consumption slightly reduces its range.
