The front of the car features modern lines, with two horizontal LED light strips and a completely closed grille focused on aerodynamics.
Its large closed wheels, recessed D-pillar, and slim taillights reinforce the elegant and futuristic style of the model.
Interior Focused on Maximum Comfort
The interior of the Maextro S800 reinforces the luxury proposal. Only two passengers can travel in the rear row, seated in large individual seats.
Between them, a central console includes a folding table, refrigerator, cup holders, safe, and controls for various functions of the car.
These elements have been designed to provide an exclusive comfort experience, aligned with what is expected at the highest standards of the automotive sector.
Mechanical Options and Impressive Range
The model will be available in two mechanical versions: 100% electric and plug-in hybrid. The electric version promises up to 702 km of range, thanks to a 94 kWh battery. The hybrid will have five levels of range in 100% electric mode, varying between 258 km and 311 km.
These numbers place the Maextro S800 among the cars with the greatest range in its category, reinforcing Huawei and its partners’ focus on cutting-edge technology for the automotive sector.
Competitive Price for the Luxury Segment
The commercial launch of the Maextro S800 in China is scheduled for May 31, 2025. The starting price will be 1 million yuan, equivalent to about 125 thousand dollars. Higher-equipped versions could reach 200,000 euros.
Although high by Chinese standards, the price is significantly more affordable than that of an equivalent Rolls-Royce, potentially costing up to three times less depending on the chosen configuration.
Immediate Success in the Market
Despite the high price for the reality of most Chinese consumers, the Maextro S800 achieved 2,108 firm reservations in the first 48 hours of sales opening.
The number reveals the strong appeal of the model, which combines luxury, advanced technology, and a competitive price against traditional competitors.
The expectation is that the Maextro S800 will further consolidate the presence of Chinese brands in the global premium vehicle market.
