Remuneration at the Federal Institute Varies According to Education and Qualifications
The remuneration offered by the IFSP in the recently published public competition is one of the points that attract candidates’ attention.
In the Level D positions, whose basic salary is R$ 3,029.89, the amount received can increase depending on the professional’s qualifications.
Those with only a high school diploma receive the base salary.
Applicants with technical training (when not required as a condition) will receive R$ 3,635.87. With a higher education degree, the remuneration increases to R$ 3,787.36.
Furthermore, the salary grows even more for employees with postgraduate degrees. Professionals with specialization receive R$ 3,938.86, while those with a master’s degree earn R$ 4,605.44.
At the top of the scale, employees with a doctorate can earn up to R$ 5,302.31.
However, it is important to note that, in the specific case of the Laboratory Technician – Industrial Automation area position, the additional for technical courses does not apply, as this training is already required as a minimum qualification for the position.
For the Level E positions, the basic salary is higher and starts at R$ 4,967.04. Candidates with only a bachelor’s degree receive this starting amount.
However, with specialization, the earnings increase to R$ 6,457.15.
Even more significant are the salaries for those with advanced degrees. An employee with a master’s degree can earn R$ 7,549.90.
Professionals with a doctorate can earn up to R$ 8,692.32 monthly.

For the Laboratory Technician position (Areas: Industrial Automation), IFSP requires a completed high school education plus a technical course in Industrial Automation or similar.
For Information Technology Analyst — Systems Development — a compatible higher education degree is required, as described in the announcement.
Each candidate may only apply for one position.
Selection Process, Exam, and Evaluation Criteria
The selection will be made through an objective test, scheduled for January 25, 2026, in the city of São Paulo.
The test will cover subjects such as Portuguese Language, Logical Reasoning, Computer Science or Legislation, depending on the position.
The IFSP competition will be valid for one year, and can be extended for an equal period.
How to Ensure Your Registration for the IFSP Competition
Applications must be made at the IFSP public competition’s website between November 11 and December 15, 2025.
The application fee varies by position: R$ 120 for Level D and R$ 150 for Level E.
There is also a provision for fee exemption for those in the CadÚnico or for bone marrow donors, according to the criteria in the announcement.
Why Participate in the IFSP Competition?
Although it offers only two immediate positions, the IFSP competition is relevant for those seeking stability and a good salary in technical-administrative roles.
The positions involve strategic areas — industrial automation and IT — with growing demand in the educational and technological sectors.
Additionally, the federal public regime and the benefits provided make the position attractive for those seeking security and good remuneration.
Finally, the selection process tends to be competitive — therefore, it is worth checking the announcement carefully, gathering documentation, and applying as soon as possible.
