HF355 Motorcycle, Created by Max Hazan, Combines Ferrari F355 V8 Engine with 400 HP in a Handmade Café Racer Style Project.
Installing a 3.5-liter V8 engine from Ferrari into a motorcycle seems impossible. However, for builder Max Hazan, the idea became a reality. He not only thought of it but built a fully customized motorcycle to house the engine.
The project began months ago when Hazan was still in the early construction phase. Now, the machine is ready and functional, in the café racer style.
The model is named HF355, inspired by the engine that powered the Ferrari F355 from 1994 to 1999.

This naturally aspirated V8 is famous for its sound, capable of revving up to nearly 10,000 rpm. There are 400 horsepower available, coupled with a six-speed transmission.
Weight and Performance
The HF355 weighs 250 kg dry and 267 kg with all fluids. Almost half of that, 107 kg, comes solely from the engine. This means about 45 kg more than a typical 1,000 cc sports bike, but the trade-off is justified by the performance.
The power-to-weight ratio is approximately 0.67 hp/lb, surpassing even the BMW S1000 RR, which has 0.46 hp/lb.
To handle the heat generated, Hazan installed a ducted radiator under the engine, working with four computer-controlled electric fans.
The engine uses a dry sump system, with the oil tank positioned on top, freeing up space and easing maintenance.
Fully Customized Frame
There is no original chassis on this motorcycle. Hazan designed everything so that the components were directly bolted to the engine and transmission.
The HF355 features a custom ECU, internal carbon bodywork, unique headers and exhaust, as well as front and rear suspensions made to measure.
The front fairing is equipped with an acrylic windshield and aerodynamics fins.
All bodywork was produced by Hazan himself, using composite materials and custom molds. There was no donor motorcycle for the project, reinforcing its handcrafted nature.
Ergonomic Adjustments
The overall length is similar to that of an adventure motorcycle, but Hazan shortened the wheelbase to 1,600 mm. This helped maintain the classic appearance of a sports bike.
The ergonomics required special attention, with adjustments to seat height, pedal position, and handlebar reach to make riding feasible.
These details show that the focus was not only on aesthetics or on power, but also on the riding experience. After all, riding a V8 on two wheels requires more than courage — it needs control.
Guaranteed Exclusivity
The final specifications have not yet been disclosed and appear as “in development” on Hazan’s website. Therefore, not all the numbers are known.
What is known is that the HF355 will not be produced in series. It is a one-off piece, made to demonstrate how far extreme customization can go.
Who will be the rider willing to take on this creation is still a mystery.
But the most important thing is that with the HF355, Hazan proved that even the most improbable ideas can come to life — as long as there is vision, technique, and dedication.
