The Idecan Institute Will Be Responsible for the New Firefighters Competition with Initial Payments of R$ 2,791.72!
The Military Fire Department of the State of Rio de Janeiro (CBMERJ) has officially appointed the Idecan Institute as the organizing committee for the upcoming public competition that will offer 144 vacancies for soldiers. The confirmation was published in the State Official Gazette on December 19, 2024, according to the website JC competitions.
After configurations in the terms of reference were restarted, but the initially planned organization was maintained. The next step will be signing the contract, which will allow for the publication of the opening notice.
Requirements and Payments for the Soldier Position
The vacancies for the firefighters’ competition are intended for the search and rescue area, and interested candidates must meet the following criteria:

History of the Firefighters RJ Competition
The last competition of CBMERJ took place in 2023 and was organized by Iuds, with 800 vacancies distributed among various specialties. At that time, the positions available were:
- Soldier (670 vacancies);
- Third Sergeant Musician (130 vacancies).
Among the soldier positions, opportunities were divided by specialties:
- Fighter: 52 vacancies;
- Driver and Travel Operator: 230 vacancies;
- Artisan: 162 vacancies;
- Telecommunications: 26 vacancies;
- Trumpeter: 50 vacancies;
- Maritime/Launch Master: 150 vacancies.
For the fighter area, the vacancies were even more specific, covering roles such as bricklayer, building electrician, plumber, carpenter, among others.
