Pop 110i has already reached the mark of 1,7 million units sold
Although many ignore the Honda Pop 110i, especially in cities like São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, the reality is different in other regions. In states like Maranhão and Piauí, the bike stands out and is widely popular among locals.
In many areas of the country, people who previously used bicycles, public transportation or even pack animals now opt for the Pop 110i. This is for two main reasons: its affordable price, which can be even more advantageous in a consortium, and its durability. With basic care, the motorcycle rarely has problems, demonstrating its resistance.

This silent success is reflected in sales: the Pop 110i is among the best-selling motorcycles in Brazil, behind only the Honda CG 160, NXR 160 Bros and Biz 110/125 models. Produced for 17 years, since 2007, the Pop 110i has already reached the mark of 1,7 million units sold. Due to this strategic importance, Honda chose the Pop 110i as its first motorcycle launch in the 2025 line.
Honda's new motorcycle has seen a power increase to 8,4 hp, in addition to a 5% gain in torque
The new Pop 110i maintains its familiar look, but with some updated details. The front suspension stays are now black, and the decals have been redesigned, giving the model a modern and elegant touch. However, the main transformation is under the hood.
Already in compliance with the next stage of the Emissions Control Program for motorcycles (Promot 5), Pop 110i got a new engine. The displacement was slightly increased from 109,1 cm³ to 109,5 cm³, with changes in the bore and stroke measurements, which went from 47,0 mm x 63,1 mm to 50 mm x 55,6 mm.
The new engine design, which focuses on increasing piston stroke rather than bore, prioritizes torque, improves fuel burn efficiency and provides smoother operation.
In addition to the engine, a new pipe was incorporated, returning the evaporative gases from the gasoline stored in the tank to the combustion chamber.
With this, the Pop 110i had a 6% increase in power, going from 7,9 hp to 8,4 hp at 7.250 rpm, in addition to a 5% gain in torque, now 0,94 kgf.ma at 5.000 rpm. Like the previous model, the engine is injected and air-cooled.
Honda Pop 110i's new semi-automatic transmission is similar to that of the Honda Biz
One of the major innovations of the 2025 line is the rotary semi-automatic transmission, similar to that of the Honda Biz. The Pop 110i now has no clutch lever, and the four gears follow a rotary logic: when engaging fourth gear, one more touch puts the bike in neutral, and another touch restarts the sequence.
Now, all gears are shifted down. Previously, you had to return to neutral by lifting the pedal in a 4-3-2-1-N sequence. Although different, the system is easy to adapt to, and the rear pedal has been adjusted to facilitate heel-downshifts.
The current engine of the Pop 110i is different from that used in the Biz 110, although both have the same displacement. However, it is likely that the Biz 110 will soon also incorporate the new engine to meet the demands of the Promo 5.
Two updates complement the new features of the Pop 110i: the electric starter replaces the kickstarter, offering greater convenience, and the Michelin Pilot Street 2 tires, which replace the previous Levorin tires, guarantee superior grip.
Honda Pop 110i 2025 has a suggested price of R$ 9.690, with a three-year warranty, with no mileage limit!
Despite the improvements, the price of the Pop 110i did not increase significantly. The 2025 model arrived with a suggested price of R$9.690, an increase of just R$120 compared to the 2024 model. The available colors are black, red and white, with the latter offering a relaxed appearance.
The Honda Pop 110 ES is available at dealerships, with a three-year warranty, unlimited mileage, and free Pro Honda oil for seven services.
Pop 110i does 49,1 km/l and promises autonomy of 206 km
The Pop 110i has always been easy to ride, being compared to a “motorized bicycle” due to its lightness and agility. Weighing just 87 kg, the 2025 line maintains these characteristics, now with a smoother ride and less vibration.
The model's performance was evaluated by the Mauá Institute, which recorded acceleration from 0 to 60 km/h in 7,8 seconds and recovery from 40 km/h to 60 km/h in 4,6 seconds, in addition to a maximum speed of 93 km/h.
With an average consumption of 49,1 km/l and a range of around 206 km, depending on driving style, the model remains economical.
