Hyundai's new mini SUV is introduced to the automotive market and is coming soon. Meet the Hyundai Venue, a model that arrives with cutting-edge technologies and great performance.

By bringing a new SUV to replace the HB20, Hyundai is set to impress the entire automotive market. The brand has invested heavily in the country to keep up with other automakers, such as all those belonging to the Stellantis group, for example. Now, Hyundai's new mini SUV, the Hyundai Venue, is about to arrive here.

The South Korean company, after regaining control of all cars produced here and also imported, showed that it is not messing around. In approximately 3 months, the brand brought the Palisade, a large luxury SUV, the Cona hybrid and 100% electric, new Crete restyled and with 1.6 turbo engine and more.

To maintain this growth of new products and good options on the market, Hyundai is preparing a new generation of compact cars for Brazil and, by all indications, HB20 will be replaced by a new mini SUV from Hyundai's entry level to compete with models like the Renault Kardian.

In terms of dimensions, the Hyundai Venue, sold in the Indian automotive market, is 3,99 m long, 2,50 m wheelbase, 1,77 m wide and 1,61 m high and the total weight is a light 1129 kg and it accommodates 300 l of luggage in the trunk.

In terms of looks, Hyundai's mini SUV is very attractive and resembles the Creta. At the front, we have a Black Piano grille and split full LED headlights. The sides feature two-tone paint and wheels up to 16 inches. Moving on to the rear, we have a sporty bumper, spoiler and LED taillights that are interconnected and very attractive.

New Hyundai Venue delivers 120 hp

Speaking of engines, Hyundai's new mini SUV will have as one of its options the mild hybrid system that is already seen in the Kia Stonic here, but in a tropicalized configuration and with Flex technology. In the simplest configurations it will have the 1.0 three-cylinder Turbo with direct injection of Flex fuel.

The Hyundai Venue's engine delivers 120 horsepower and 17,5 kgfm of torque, associated with a six-speed automatic transmission. The performance and fuel consumption averages will be even better than those of the current Creta, after all it is a much smaller and lighter car.

The most expensive versions of Hyundai's mini SUV on the automotive market may feature a set that is promised by the brand. The one in question will be based on the same 1.0 three-cylinder turbo gasoline engine associated with another power generator and we will have flex technology. With this new set, the Hyundai Venue will have the famous sailing mode that turns off the engine at cruising speeds and saves a lot of fuel.

Technologies present in the new mini SUV

Inside, Hyundai's new mini SUV will be a simplified version of the Creta, bringing some of its big brother's good qualities with it. The interior space will comfortably accommodate four adults and one child, and the equipment list will offer some very interesting items such as a keyless entry key, induction cell phone charger, digital air conditioning, rear air vents and a multifunctional steering wheel.

There is also a panel that is the same as the HB20 and entry-level versions of the current new Creta that has that screen that simulates a digital panel, but the only thing that is really digital is what is in the center, which is a 4-inch TFT panel that, when added together, even looks like a 100% digital panel, but it is not.

In terms of safety, the new Hyundai Veune will be a complete model, but with moderation. It will feature items such as disc brakes with ABS, traction and stability controls, six airbags, three-point seat belts and headrests for all occupants, and all of this will be available in all versions. The most complete models will also be able to add collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert and braking for maneuvers.
