Man Transforms Old Truck into a Removable Home on Wheels, with Kitchen, Large Bed, Thermal Insulation, and Webasto Heating to Live in Nature.

The starting point of the project is an old, common truck, like those used in everyday light transportation. No expensive motorhome or ready-made industrial structure. The proposal was to create a real home on wheels, capable of offering comfort, autonomy, and practicality, without losing the versatility of a utility vehicle. From the beginning, the focus was clear: the structure needed to be removable, allowing the truck to remain useful as a pickup whenever necessary.

Modular Structure That Can Be Dismantled and Reinstalled

One of the big differentiators of the project is the removable concept. The home was built to be installed directly in the truck bed, without irreversible modifications to the truck.

When the owner needs to transport materials or use the vehicle for another purpose, the camper can be removed. And when the opportunity arises to travel or live for a few days in nature, the structure returns to the truck bed and transforms back into a complete and functional camper.

Handcrafted Construction with Thermal Insulation and Attention to Detail

The images show a completely handcrafted process, with a wooden structure, well-calculated reinforcements, and insulating panels applied to the walls, floor, and ceiling.

This insulation is not just aesthetic. It ensures thermal comfort in both cold and hot weather, reduces external noise, and makes the interior more pleasant for long stays, even in isolated areas or with unstable weather.

Compact Interior, But Surprisingly Functional

Despite the reduced space, the interior was designed to make use of every centimeter. The camper features a fully equipped kitchen, adequate ventilation, water and gas systems, and a preparation area that allows for practical cooking.

Additionally, there is a workspace, which can also function as a dining table, showing that the project is not only for leisure but also for those who wish to work remotely in nature.

Large Bed and Comfort for Real Use, Not Just Occasional

Unlike many improvised campers, this home on wheels offers a generously sized bed, designed for comfortable nights, without makeshift adaptations.

The internal layout allows for sitting, moving around, and resting comfortably, reinforcing that the project was designed for frequent use, not just for quick weekend getaways.

Webasto Heating Ensures Autonomy in Cold Regions

One of the technical highlights of the project is the use of Webasto heating, a system very common in expedition vehicles and professional campers.

This feature allows the interior to stay warm even in low temperatures, without relying on external power sources, making the home on wheels viable for long trips and stays in remote locations.

Versatility: A Home When Needed, A Truck When Necessary

The great merit of this project lies in the balance between freedom and functionality. The truck does not lose its original utility, and the camper does not lose comfort.

This flexibility makes the solution ideal for those who want to experience nature but cannot give up a work vehicle in their daily life.

The final result impresses not only with its cozy appearance but also with the project’s logic. Everything has a function, everything is reusable, and nothing is excessive.

It is proof that, with planning, creativity, and careful execution, an old truck can be transformed into a complete home on wheels, comfortable and ready to live off the conventional route.

Nem banheiro. E a estrutura ficou fixa no chassi. Não tem como usar o carro pra outro fim, como disseram …
