The opportunities are distributed across sectors such as maintenance, operation, engineering, occupational safety, and information technology, with technical and administrative profiles. Part of these vacancies are affirmative, aimed exclusively at people with disabilities (PwD), women, and Black professionals, as part of an internal inclusion policy. According to the company, the process was structured to increase diversity in areas that historically have lower social representation. The company emphasized that hiring follows ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals, adopted since 2020 as part of its institutional strategy. Vale’s People Management reserved at least 30% of the vacancies for professionals with disabilities, in technical and administrative areas.
The company allocated another 20% of the vacancies, preferably for women and Black individuals, especially in engineering, operation, and supervisory roles. Vale projected affirmative actions to promote more diverse corporate environments, in line with its public commitments.
