New Nissan Sedan Arrives in Brazil with Efficient Engine, Consumption of Up to 15 km/l and Renewed Design; 2025 Model Can Already Be Found at Dealerships Across the Country.

The Nissan Versa takes the position of the cheapest sedan in Brazil in 2025, especially its manual Sense version, which has been offered for less than R$ 130 thousand at some dealerships. The new model line, now imported from Mexico, bets on a modern design package, fuel economy, and standard equipment to compete in the compact sedan segment with one of the best cost-benefit ratios in the national market. The new Nissan sedan arrives in the country in four versions – Sense, Advance, SR, and Exclusive – and is designed to attract consumers looking for efficiency, safety, and comfort, without giving up a competitive price.

Amid rising vehicle prices in Brazil, the Versa presents itself as a rational alternative, especially for app drivers, families, and fleet owners.

Nissan Versa 2025 Focuses on Renewed Design and More Technology

The Nissan sedan has undergone specific visual changes in the 2025 line, gaining a new front grille with chrome V trim, new shaped headlights, and updated color options. The body maintains smooth lines that ensure good aerodynamics and urban elegance, characteristics already known of the model since its arrival in 2020 in the current generation.

Inside, the new sedan brings a comfortable cabin with ample legroom in the rear seat and improved finishes, especially in the mid-range and top-of-the-line versions. The dashboard combines modern elements, such as a touchscreen multimedia system, and practical features, such as a multifunction steering wheel and seats with good lumbar support.

Standard Equipment Makes Nissan Versa a Highlight in the Segment

Even in the most basic version, the Nissan Versa offers an attractive list of features. The Sense variant, for example, comes with air conditioning, electric steering, power windows and locks, six airbags, stability and traction controls, hill start assist, and onboard computer.

The AdvanceSR and Exclusive versions include additional items such as a rearview camera, multimedia center with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, alloy wheels, keyless entry with push-button start, blind spot alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and autonomous emergency braking system.

The Nissan sedan stands out for offering driver assistance technologies that are typically seen only in higher categories.

Performance and Economy: Strong Point of the New Nissan Sedan

Under the hood, the Nissan Versa 2025 is equipped with the well-known 1.6 16V flex engine, delivering up to 113 horsepower with ethanol, paired with a five-speed manual transmission (in the entry version) or CVT automatic transmission in the other versions.

In terms of fuel consumption, the model stands out. With gasoline, it achieves 11.8 km/l in the city and up to 15 km/l on the highway, according to data from Inmetro. With ethanol, the consumption is 8.1 km/l in the city and 11.8 km/l on the highway. These numbers make the Versa one of the most fuel-efficient compact sedans in Brazil.

Driving is comfortable and smooth, ideal for urban use. On the highway, the stability is commendable, and the CVT transmission’s response contributes to a fluid and economical drive.

Competitive Price Makes Nissan Versa the Cheapest Sedan in Brazil

Although the suggested prices for the 2025 line range from R$ 115,690 to R$ 141,490, the Sense version with manual transmission has been offered below R$ 97 thousand at dealerships in the Southeast region, thanks to factory promotions and negotiation bonuses.

This price places the Versa as the cheapest sedan in Brazil currently with a manual transmission and six airbags as standard, outperforming rivals like the Fiat Cronos 1.3 and the Chevrolet Onix Plus 1.0 aspirated.

Check the official prices for the automatic versions:

  • Versa Advance CVT: R$ 123,690
  • Versa SR CVT: R$ 128,690
  • Versa Exclusive CVT: R$ 141,490

The automatic Sense version, which also tends to appear in offers, officially costs R$ 115,690, but can be found for prices close to R$ 105 thousand with discounts for CNPJ, taxi drivers, or through financing bonuses.

Generous Interior Space and Trunk Reinforce Practicality

In addition to the competitive price, the new Nissan sedan stands out for its comfort. The rear passenger space is one of the largest in its category, comfortably accommodating three adults. The trunk is also generous, with capacity for 482 liters, ideal for families and long trips.

Another positive point is the improved acoustic insulation of the cabin in this generation, providing quieter and more pleasant journeys. The well-calibrated suspension can filter surface irregularities without compromising stability.
