Petrobras Decides to Concentrate Offshore Logistics Flights in Macaé, Farol de São Tomé, and Vitória, Campos dos Goytacazes for Petrobras Operations
Petrobras has already made it clear in its strategic plan 2020-2024 that it will focus on Macaé and surrounding cities for mature field revitalization operations, also divesting to raise funds to invest in pre-salt production. Campos dos Goytacazes has once again made the list of cuts.

According to information from the traditional Portal Clique Diário, Petrobras management has decided to suspend all logistics operations of offshore flights to the platforms in the Campos Basin from Bartolomeu Lisandro Airport in the municipality starting December 25, 2019. They are:
- Heliport of Farol de São Tomé
- Eurico de Aguar Salles
- Macáe Airport (IATA: MEA, ICAO: SBME)

The platforms included in the flight portfolio at Macaé Airport are units P-7, P-8, P-9, P-12, P-15, P-65, PCE1, PPM1, and UMTJ.

Petrobras recently acquired 100% of an offshore field from Repsol, which could increase the demand and revenue of the state-owned company in the coming years.
