The Job Openings Announced On This Day, December 6, By The Oil Giant Modec Include Positions For Higher Education In Engineering.

The large Japanese multinational Modec has job openings for professionals with higher education. The opportunities are for offshore activities in Mexico.  See How The Money From Pre-Salt Oil Will Be Used In Rio de Janeiro

Equinor, together with the companies Modec and Subsea 7, has finalized the negotiations of the Carcará contracts, which will be signed between late November and early December.

The first phase – out of two – of the project is expected to start operations between 2023 and 2024. The unit will be connected to a total of 19 wells. The second phase is expected to produce first oil three and a half years later.

The FPSO ordered from Modec has a capacity to produce 220,000 barrels of oil per day (the largest in Brazil) and process 15 million m³/d of gas.
