Details about the LUBNOR Refinery
LUBNOR, located in Fortaleza, Ceará, has an authorized processing capacity of 8,2 thousand barrels per day. Furthermore, it is one of the main national asphalt producers and the only refining unit in Brazil that manufactures naphthenic lubricants.

Petrobras, following the announcements announced on 22/06/2023 and 08/02/2023, announces that the agreement for the sale of the Lubrificantes e Derivados de Petróleo do Nordeste (LUBNOR) refinery and its corresponding logistical assets was canceled due to the failure to compliance with the preconditions established in the contract until the determined final date (25/11/2023), despite the efforts made by Petrobras to complete the transaction.
