Regional Presence Strengthens Suppliers And Local Economies
Throughout 2025, Petronect significantly expanded its regional operations. The goal was clear: to bring suppliers closer to the opportunities generated by the Petrobras System and reduce barriers to access the contracting processes.
To achieve this, the company attended more than ten supplier market events. During these occasions, it provided real-time assistance, clarified doubts, and guided companies on how to use the platform. As a result, it directly contributed to strengthening local economies.
The events took place in strategic cities for the industry, such as Curitiba (PR), São Paulo (SP), Paulínia (SP), Vitória (ES), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Macaé (RJ), Salvador (BA), Recife (PE), and Macapá (AP). Thus, the operations covered the regions of North, Northeast, Southeast, and South of the country.
Additionally, refineries of the Petrobras System, such as Repar, Replan, and Rnest, also hosted events aimed at local suppliers. These initiatives strengthened regional relationships and expanded understanding of the state-owned company’s purchasing processes.
Platform Consolidates As A Strategic Link Of The Petrobras System

With this movement, Petronect reinforced its role as a strategic link between Petrobras, its affiliates, and the national supplier market. The platform began to operate not only as a transaction environment but also as an instrument of qualification and transparency.
During the in-person events, the company conducted an average of 40 real-time assistance sessions per event. This direct contact allowed for clarifying technical doubts, guiding suppliers, and expanding access to available opportunities.
According to Petronect Relationship Manager Luiza Napoleão, the joint effort with Petrobras was essential for consolidating this progress. According to her, the partnership strengthened and expanded the supplier chain of the national oil and gas industry. This movement is also aligned with the Business Plan 2025–2029.
Additionally, the regional approach helped integrate micro, small, medium, and large companies into the Petrobras System’s purchasing ecosystem.
Growth In Registration Indicates Greater Market Engagement
As a direct consequence of this strategy, Petronect registered an increase in the number of registered suppliers. During the agendas held throughout the year, approximately one thousand new users joined the platform.
As a result, the total number of registered suppliers jumped from 45 thousand to 46 thousand companies. This progress indicates greater market engagement and reinforces suppliers’ confidence in the Petrobras System’s purchasing model.
Additionally, by supporting business roundtables, qualification workshops, and sector fairs, Petronect reaffirmed its role in bringing Petrobras closer to the supplier market. Regardless of the size of the company, the platform has been expanding access, promoting transparency, and strengthening the national production chain.
