SENAR Opened More Than Five Thousand Free Positions in EAD Technical Courses for 2026, with Selection by Document Analysis and Priority for Rural Producers in Different Strategic Areas of Agribusiness.

The National Rural Learning Service (SENAR) is currently accepting applications for 5,015 positions in secondary level technical courses, entirely free and offered in a distance learning format.

The opportunities are for seven training programs related to agribusiness, with classes scheduled to begin in the first semester of 2026 and selection made without examination, only by document analysis, as stated in Public Notice No. 001/2026.

The positions are part of the e-Tec Brazil Network at SENAR and are aligned with the technological axis of Natural Resources, recognized by the Ministry of Education.

The courses are classified as subsequent technical programs, aimed at candidates who have already completed secondary education at the time of enrollment.

In addition to being free throughout the course, there are no registration fees, which increases access for those seeking qualification to work in the field and in activities related to rural production.

Requirements and Priority for Candidates

The public notice states that the positions are intended for those who have completed secondary education in any educational system, provided the candidate presents their academic transcript and completion certificate at the time of registration and later, at in-person enrollment.

There is priority for rural producers, family members, and workers with proven ties to agricultural activity, including declarations, records, and evidence accepted by SENAR.

The vacancies not filled by this group are made available to the general public, allowing urban residents or individuals from other sectors to participate in the process, as long as they meet the documentation and education requirements.

Technical Courses Available in the Selection Process

The selection process offers seven technical courses in the EAD format, with mandatory in-person sessions at regional hubs.

In total, there are 5,015 positions in strategic areas for agribusiness.

In the Agriculture course, there are 400 positions distributed across SENAR hubs.

The Agribusiness course offers 865 positions focused on rural production management, marketing, and organizing production chains.

For Animal Husbandry, there are 1,120 positions covering animal and plant production, pasture management, and property management.

The Forestry course provides 130 positions focused on forest management, environmental recovery, and sustainable resource use.

Meanwhile, Fruit Growing has 365 positions aimed at planning, implementing, and managing orchards.

In the area of safety, the technical course in Occupational Safety in Agriculture includes 725 positions targeted at accident prevention and promoting occupational health.

Finally, Animal Science totals 1,410 positions, addressing nutrition, genetic improvement, and productive system planning.

How the SENAR EAD Modality Works

Although the courses are EAD, students are required to periodically attend in-person support hubs for mandatory activities.

The practices include assessments, field activities, laboratory classes, and workshops outlined in the course plan.

The remainder of the training takes place in a virtual environment with video lessons, educational materials, forums, and activities supervised by tutors.

This combination allows students to remain in their cities, balancing study with work while maintaining direct contact with faculty and SENAR infrastructure.

Classes are scheduled to start in February 2026.

Selection by Document Analysis

One of the distinguishing features of the process is the absence of exams.

Classification occurs based on the analysis of the documentation submitted during registration, considering academic transcripts, completion of secondary education, and, when applicable, proof of rural ties.

After evaluation and any appeals, SENAR publishes the final list of approved candidates by course, hub, and state.

This model simplifies access and reduces costs, facilitating participation for residents of regions far from in-person hubs.

Official Selection Timeline

The registration period runs until 11:59 PM on November 24, 2025, exclusively online.

Registrations began on October 6 and are completely free.

The preliminary results of the selected candidates will be announced on December 11, 2025.

The final list of approved candidates will be published on December 17, 2025.

The selected individuals must complete in-person enrollment between January 19 and 26, 2026, presenting original documents and copies.

Failure to enroll will result in the loss of the position and the calling of substitutes.

Priority for Those Living from Agricultural Activity

SENAR reinforces its actions in the field by establishing priority for rural producers, family members, and workers linked to agricultural production.

These candidates preferentially occupy the positions, provided they present accepted proof documents.

After this stage, the remaining vacancies are released to the general public.

How to Sign Up for SENAR Technical Courses

To participate, the candidate must access the SENAR 2026.1 selection process page, fill out the online form, select the desired technical course, and indicate the in-person hub where they intend to study.

Many hubs offer more than one course, allowing for prioritization of options within the system. It is necessary to attach the academic transcript, the secondary education completion certificate, and, when applicable, documents that prove ties to agricultural activity.
