Shortly after, symbolically, UFV Campos Novos was inaugurated, located in Campos Novos (SC), also in the mountain region. With a generation capacity of 1 MW and an investment of R$ 4,825,000.00, UFV Campos Novos represents another advance in the use of solar photovoltaic energy.
The Government and Celesc signed an agreement during the same afternoon to study the feasibility of using the energy generated by UFV Lages II in the consumer units of the State Department of Education. This partnership will allow state schools to consume clean energy, contributing to a more sustainable environment.
Growth Of Solar Photovoltaic Energy In Brazil
During the event, authorities highlighted the significant growth of solar photovoltaic energy in the country. With the installed capacity in Brazil equivalent to four times the energy generation of the Itaipu Hydroelectric Plant, solar photovoltaic energy stands out as an infinite, clean, and environmentally friendly source.
Representatives from construction companies, such as Quantum Engenharia, emphasized the importance of investment in renewable energies. Solar energy generation is revolutionizing the global energy landscape, providing a sustainable and economical alternative for all.
During the event, the agreement between the Public Ministry of Santa Catarina and Celesc for the use of the clean energy generated by the UFV of Campos Novos was mentioned. This business model, which consists of renting solar farms to interested institutions, represents a promising business opportunity for Celesc.
Commitment To Sustainability And Energy Efficiency
Companies like FiberX Renováveis highlight the importance of creating policies connected to the future and sustainable to ensure the quality of life for people and the preservation of the planet. Investing in energy alternatives, such as solar plants, is essential to promote sustainable and responsible development.
