Bajaj Dominar 400 Gained Attention in the Brazilian Market After a Visual Change That Caught the Attention of Motorcyclists. Learn How a Simple Innovation Can Transform the Success of a Model and Further Boost Its Sales in 2025.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 2025 officially arrived in the Brazilian market on April 14, 2025, and a seemingly simple change was enough to further boost the model’s success in the country.

With the introduction of the new Canyon Red color, the motorcycle promises to strengthen its position among the favorites in the mid-displacement segment, reinforcing Bajaj’s strategy to invest in options that combine style, performance, and competitive pricing.

With a suggested price of R$ 26,000, the Dominar 400 now offers three paint options in Brazil: Savanna Green, Charcoal Black, and the new red hue, without changes to its mechanical structure or equipment set.

The bet on aesthetic variety aims to enhance the model’s appeal among Brazilian motorcyclists, who are increasingly demanding regarding the visual identity of their vehicles.

Revamped Design and Focus on the Motorcyclist Experience

Although the update is limited to the visual aspect, the strategy of launching a new color reflects a growing trend in the automotive market: personalization and exclusivity.

According to information released by Bajaj, the choice of vibrant red was based on market research indicating Brazilian consumers’ preference for strong and striking colors, especially in sporty models.

Since its arrival in Brazil in late 2022, the Bajaj Dominar 400 has gained traction among consumers seeking a robust, technologically advanced, and affordable motorcycle, facing traditional competitors like the Yamaha MT-03 and the KTM 390 Duke.

Powerful Engine and Cutting-Edge Technology

The Bajaj Dominar 400 2025 retains the renowned 373.3 cm³ single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling, capable of delivering 40 horsepower at 8,800 rpm and 3.56 kgf.m of torque at 6,500 rpm.

The six-speed transmission provides smooth and efficient riding, ideal for both urban use and highway travel.

Standard highlights include:

  • Full-LED lighting for better visibility and safety.
  • Windshield, engine protectors, and grips, ensuring greater protection in various riding conditions.
  • Split seat and passenger backrest, offering more comfort for long trips.
  • Rear rack with support for a top case, designed for everyday use and for those seeking convenience in cargo transport.
  • ABS brakes on both wheels, increasing safety in emergency braking situations.
  • Alloy wheels, combining strength and lightness.

These features consolidate the Dominar 400 as a smart choice for those looking to combine cost-effectiveness with a good dose of technology.

Dimensions and Technical Specifications of the Bajaj Dominar 400 2025

According to the technical data released by Bajaj, the Dominar 400 has balanced dimensions that favor stability and comfort:

  • Length: 2,156 mm
  • Width: 836 mm
  • Height: 1,243 mm
  • Wheelbase: 1,112 mm
  • Ground clearance: 157 mm
  • Dry weight: 184 kg
  • Fuel tank: 13 liters

The ABS brakes are dual-channel, with 320 mm discs in the front and 230 mm in the rear, ensuring safer braking in any situation.

The radial tires offer excellent grip, with sizes of 110/70-17 in the front and 150/60-17 in the rear, optimizing performance in both curves and straights.

The front suspension features a 43 mm inverted fork with 135 mm travel, while the rear is equipped with an adjustable Nitrox mono shock, providing 110 mm of travel to better absorb uneven ground.

Expressive Performance in the Brazilian Market

Since it began being sold in Brazil in December 2023, the Bajaj Dominar 400 has already registered 12,396 units, a remarkable achievement for a brand relatively new in the country.

In 2025 alone, 2,849 units were sold, according to data from the National Federation of Automotive Vehicle Distribution (Fenabrave).

The good performance can be attributed to the combination of competitive pricing, consistent performance, and modern design, attributes valued by Brazilian consumers.

Furthermore, the arrival of the new Canyon Red color is expected to further boost sales in the coming months, aligning with the trend of valuing sporty aesthetics among motorcyclists.

What Makes the Bajaj Dominar 400 Such an Interesting Choice?

The Bajaj Dominar 400 2025 stands out for delivering a superior riding experience in its price range, combining power, comfort, and safety in an attractive package.

Another important differentiator is the robust construction of the model, which conveys confidence for both daily use and longer adventures.

The growing presence of Bajaj in the national market also contributes to the brand’s appreciation, which has already announced investments in new sales points and technical service centers in Brazil, strengthening its support network.

According to industry experts, the Dominar 400 is now one of the best options for those looking to upgrade from low-displacement models to a more powerful motorcycle without sacrificing economy.

Still in April 2025, Bajaj confirmed its intention to bring new launches to the country, including updated versions of other popular models in Asia and Europe, indicating a strategic strengthening of the brand in Brazilian territory.
