Giant Pickup Acquired by Zé Neto Draws Attention for Its Light Truck Size, Power Above 500 HP, and Exclusive Customizations Made in the United States.
The country singer Zé Neto, partner of Cristiano in the successful duo, has become the owner of the first Ford F-450 Super Duty Platinum 2025 registered in Brazil.
The model was brought from the United States through independent importation done by Master Cargas Brasil, in a logistics process that took about 29 days from the vehicle’s departure in Florida to its arrival in Brazilian territory.
The company did not disclose the exact value of the deal, but indicates that the pickup arrived at around R$ 1.5 million, approximately half a million below the table price, estimated at around R$ 2 million for this type of factory configuration.

The new Renault Koleos has a screen exclusively for the passenger that is invisible to the driver, heated rear seats, and 29 assistance systems, but its Chinese competitors cost R$ 40,000 less and deliver more power.
In addition to debuting the version in the country, Zé Neto’s F-450 received a series of customizations and will be registered in the State of Paraná, making it a unique unit in specifications and finish.
With a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 6,350 kg, double rear wheels, and light truck dimensions, the model requires Category C driver’s license to be legally driven on Brazilian roads.
Dimensions and Capacity of the F-450 Super Duty
Although presented as a pickup, the F-450 Super Duty Platinum practically occupies the space of a light truck.
In the crew cab and long bed configuration, the vehicle measures about 6.76 meters in length, with over 2 meters in height and a width close to 2.4 meters without mirrors.

The wheelbase exceeds 4.4 meters, which helps explain the ample interior space and stability when loaded or towing.
The chassis uses over 95% high-strength steel, while the body employs aluminum alloys developed to withstand severe work.
With this structural base, the F-450 offers a payload capacity in the range of 3,400 to 3,460 kg, depending on the configuration, and can tow up to around 14.7 tons in specific hitch arrangements, a number that is often rounded to 15 tons in promotional materials.
In the case of the vehicle purchased by Zé Neto, Master Cargas highlights this “towing giant” profile: it is a platform designed to pull trailers, agricultural implements, motorhomes, and other large units.
V8 Turbodiesel Engine and 10-Speed Transmission
The mechanical highlight of the F-450 Super Duty Platinum is the 6.7L V8 turbodiesel engine, from the Power Stroke family, developed by Ford for high-demand towing and hauling applications.
In the latest high-performance configuration, this engine delivers about 500 to 507 HP, depending on the market and calibration, with torque close to 165.9 kgfm.
This setup works in partnership with the 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission, also used in the brand’s commercial applications.
The transmission is designed to multiply torque in towing situations on inclines, better distribute revolutions on highway cruising, and reduce consumption compared to less modern gearboxes.
The 4×4 traction with low range completes the package for off-road use or on low-traction surfaces, especially when the vehicle is loaded.
The combination of a large-displacement turbodiesel engine, reinforced structure, and towing system prepared for fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch explains the ability to pull nearly 15 tons.
Even so, Ford positions the model as a vehicle aimed at heavy work, although, in the case of the singer, the F-450 also serves as a luxury and image item.
Exclusive Customizations of Zé Neto’s Pickup
The unit purchased by Zé Neto is not just a standard F-450 Platinum.
Master Cargas oversaw a package of aesthetic and functional alterations in the United States before shipping to Brazil.
Among the changes, the pickup received 26-inch KG1 wheels, with a high visual impact design, combined with tires suitable for the vehicle’s size.
The suspension was lifted, increasing ground clearance and enhancing its off-road stance.
The original front grille, which in the factory version has chrome finishes, was replaced with a piece featuring gloss black details, aligning its look with a current trend in luxury pickups with fewer visible chrome accents.

These interventions maintain the structural and mechanical base of the model but create a unique visual signature for the artist’s F-450.
Luxury Interior and Technologies of the Platinum Version
Inside, the F-450 Super Duty Platinum strays from the image of a strictly work vehicle.
The cabin follows the standard of the more sophisticated versions of the Super Duty line, with premium leather seats and electric adjustments, including memory.
The space for up to five or six occupants, depending on the seating arrangement, is enhanced by the large wheelbase.
The model features dual-zone digital climate control, allowing distinct temperature adjustments for the driver and front passenger.
There is also a panoramic sunroof in certain package combinations.
The multimedia center has a 12-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, and voice commands.
In higher-content versions, such as the Platinum, it is possible to have a head-up display and premium sound system with 14 speakers.
The cabin combines various storage compartments, outlets, charging ports, and higher-quality finish materials.
Safety Systems and Driver Assistants
Even though it is a robust vehicle with large dimensions, the F-450 Super Duty Platinum brings a wide range of driver assistance systems.
Among the available items are blind spot alert, with monitoring also for trailers, lane keeping assist, and warnings for unintentional lane changes.
The model may feature autonomous emergency braking and pre-collision assist, which act to reduce or avoid impacts.
The adaptive cruise control automatically adjusts the speed in relation to the vehicle ahead.
In some configurations, there are specific technologies for those using trailers, including auxiliary cameras and stabilization features.
Impact on the Brazilian Market and Exclusivity
Ford does not officially offer the F-450 in Brazil.
The lineup available in the country is limited to the Ranger and, more recently, versions of the F-150.
Therefore, units like Zé Neto’s arrive only via independent importation, a process that involves transportation, customs clearance, adaptations, and registration.
With a list price close to R$ 2 million and negotiations that, in the singer’s case, revolve around R$ 1.5 million, the F-450 occupies a tier far above officially sold pickups.
This value reflects the cost of the vehicle, taxes, logistics, and customizations.
In this scenario, the arrival of the nearly 7-meter truck reinforces the trend of North American heavy-duty models becoming status symbols in Brazil.
Given this set of characteristics, power, and exclusivity, the question remains: would you dare to take to the Brazilian streets in a pickup of this size?
