Stellantis' new SUV for the Brazilian market: Peugeot 2008 2025 sales grow and the company achieves its best result in 9 years. Understand the difference of the new SUV compact.

The new Peugeot 2008 2025 hit the national market in August as the brand's bid to regain ground in the competitive compact SUV segment. Stellantis' new SUV quickly gained prominence by achieving significant sales figures. In October, Stellantis' new SUV sold 1.746 units, marking a considerable growth of 62,7% compared to the previous month.

Technologies present in the new Stellantis SUV

The Peugeot 2008 2025 arrives in Brazil with a series of innovations and attractions that attract the attention of consumers. From the basic Active version, the model offers standard equipment such as LED headlights and taillights with three-dimensional effects, 17-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, a 2-inch i-Cockpit 10D digital panel and a 10,3-inch multimedia center.

These items make up an extensive list that also includes cruise control, hill start assist and other safety features.

The mid-range Allure version of Stellantis' new SUV adds features such as leather seats, blind spot warning and a 360-degree camera system. The top-of-the-line GT version includes even more technologies, such as driver assistance systems (ADAS), a sunroof and paddle shifts. These differences between the configurations allow Peugeot to cater to different consumer profiles, offering a complete and modern SUV.

How much does the new Peugeot 2008 2025 cost?

All versions of the Peugeot 2008 2025 in Brazil are equipped with a 1.0 T200 engine, manufactured by Stellantis. When fueled with ethanol, this engine generates up to 130 horsepower and 20,4 kgfm of torque.

The CVT automatic transmission, which simulates 7 gears, complements the vehicle's mechanics, providing a smooth and efficient driving experience. All production of the model is centralized at the El Palomar factory in Argentina, ensuring quality and control over the production process.

The starting price of Stellantis' new SUV starting at R$139.990 for the Active version, reaching R$ 169.990 in the GT configuration. However, Peugeot often offers promotions, allowing consumers to purchase the model with large discounts, up to R$ 15 thousand below the list price. This competitive pricing strategy is one of the reasons why the model has been gaining prominence in the Brazilian market.

Understand how the Peugeot 2008 2025 is performing in the national market

As previously mentioned, the model sold 1.746 units, and this performance surpassed the historical results of August 2018, setting a new monthly record for the model. Although it is still far from the segment leaders, such as the Hyundai creta, which sold 7.761 units during the same period, the new Stellantis SUV represents a successful bet for Peugeot.

The company announced that in October of this year it achieved its best sales result since 2015, achieving a 2,8% share of the compact SUV market. The expectation is that the numbers will improve as the delivery of the new Peugeot 2008 2025 normalizes, currently with a waiting list of up to 90 days.

With growing sales performance and a robust set of features, the Peugeot 2008 has the potential to establish itself in the domestic market. As deliveries return to normal and the brand continues to optimize its offerings and marketing strategies, the brand is expected to strengthen its position in the compact SUV segment.

The Peugeot 2008 2025's successful trajectory in Brazil is still unfolding, but the signs so far are promising.

They include the PCD class, without mentioning them in the article, for the entry car. Even so, it would exceed 100.

It's Peugeot. Brazilians don't want Peugeot anymore because the brand burned itself in the national market with the defective 206 and 308. Besides, for the price and what it delivers, it's better to get a Renault Kardian.

Be careful. Peugeot is selling the car and not delivering it.

In addition to paying for false advertising, Brazilians are becoming increasingly suspicious of brands that have failed to establish themselves in the market for years.

Don't buy a French car, maintenance is very expensive and resale is the worst of all.
