Work Done on a Sunday Shows How Much a Delivery Person Can Earn in About Five Hours, Detailing Hours, Number of Routes, Impact of Rain, Initial Lack of Promotions, and the Final Amount Received When Completing Deliveries
A delivery person began activities at 10:00 on Sunday, before the lunch peak, completing 9 routes by 15:22 and finishing with R$ 155.64, reporting values per delivery, rain, short logistics, occasional promotions, and practical work strategies.
Early Start and Context of the Journey
The journey started around 10:00, before the traditional lunch hour, which extends from 11:00 to 15:00, increasing the available time to generate extra income on a Sunday.
The first call indicated three deliveries, all related to a pharmacy, with pickups at a mall, short distances, and quick execution, including one delivery made on foot, taking advantage of the immediate proximity to the destination.

After finishing the first set, the panel showed R$ 21.16 accumulated, demonstrating quick initial returns, even before peak demand, reinforcing the strategy of starting activities early.
Evolution of Earnings Over the Period
With new routes accepted, the total rose to R$ 47 after four routes, with three completed and one in progress, with individual values close to R$ 18, without any active promotion at that moment.
The lack of incentives increased the effort needed, requiring a higher volume of deliveries to compensate, as reported, unlike promotional periods, when additional values per route boost the final earnings.
During this interval, the delivery person estimated that promotions could add around R$ 5 per delivery but highlighted that the observed scenario was “dry,” requiring persistence and resilience.
Logistics, Distances, and Acceptance Criteria
The adopted strategy prioritized short deliveries, even when classified as “tirão,” due to involving heavier weight, but had close routes, reducing idle time and operational consumption during the journey.
Calls considered distant were rejected without hesitation, especially during heavy rain, prioritizing more efficient routes and maintaining focus on controlled volume within the available time.
The flow of orders increased with the rain, but the delivery person opted for selectivity, balancing safety, time, and financial return, staying aligned with the goal of extra Sunday income.
Use of Power Bank and Phone Management
To ensure autonomy, a 10-amp power bank was used, with a percentage display, avoiding fixed chargers on the bike, especially during rain, which previously caused water to enter the connector.
The device allowed charging the phone inside a waterproof case, with a short cable, ensuring continuous operation of the app for up to five hours, even under constant rainfall.
The approximate investment mentioned was R$ 140, considered advantageous due to its durability, practicality, and reduction of risks to the equipment, becoming an essential part of the operational routine.
Impact of Rain on the Delivery Pace
The rain started around 13:14, requiring the use of a raincoat and reduction of recordings, but also increased the demand for deliveries, creating a continuous sequence of calls during the critical period.
Despite the increased requests, the delivery person maintained a strict acceptance criterion, rejecting long distances, preserving safety and avoiding delays that would compromise hourly earnings.
The phone battery, already charged preventively, sustained the work even with interruptions in charging during the rain, validating the proactive energy management strategy.
Closure, Final Result, and Summary
The journey ended at 15:22, totaling approximately five hours of work, with nine completed routes and a final recorded value of R$ 155.64, after the inclusion of occasional promotions at the end.
According to the report, promotions of R$ 5 per delivery started appearing later, contributing to raising the total, confirming that weather conditions can positively influence earnings.
The delivery person emphasized that, even without initial incentives, it is possible to generate extra income on Sundays, as long as there is planning, operational criteria, and willingness to adapt to the variable pace.
