The secret to security in Valinhos

Valinhos' leadership in the security ranking can be attributed to a combination of social and economic factors that help maintain order and tranquility in the municipality.

In addition to well-executed public policies, the city has a high level of social organization, with residents who collaborate with security forces and with taking care of the community itself.

The low crime rate is also a reflection of a strong and diversified local economy, which allows residents access to quality jobs and services.

This scenario reinforces the importance of preventive policies, which prioritize the involvement of the population in local security and constant monitoring, so that violence remains under control.

Why do cities in São Paulo dominate the safety rankings?

The cities in the state of São Paulo, which represent the majority of the security ranking, have established themselves as models of public security in Brazil.

According to experts, São Paulo's leadership in this index is not the result of chance, but rather of constant investment in police training and real-time monitoring programs.

Many municipalities adopt surveillance cameras, reinforce visible policing and invest in intelligence centers.

In addition to Valinhos, cities such as Botucatu, Tatuí and Sertãozinho also stand out for their quality of life and safety.

Safety in numbers: how the study was conducted

To arrive at the ranking, the MySide guide used the Mortality Monitoring Panel, which monitors homicide rates in the country, in addition to information from the IBGE census.

The data is extremely relevant for outlining the profile of cities and understanding how crime rates vary according to urban and social development..

This type of study, carried out continuously, provides a comparative analysis of security in Brazil and shows that urban planning and investment in public security can generate major impacts on the quality of life of residents.

The conclusions drawn by the survey are clear: public safety in Brazil is not uniform, and Some cities stand out as examples, especially those that combine security policies, infrastructure and active community participation.

And what do you think? Could more Brazilian cities reach the same level of safety as Valinhos and the others in the ranking?
