Line 2026 Maintains 250 cm³ Base and Connectivity, Bets on Atacama Brown Color and Movable LED Headlight, While Digital Dashboard Package with Bluetooth and App Features Remains a Differentiator in Daily Use.

The Yamaha officially presented the 2026 line of the Lander Connected on January 29, maintaining the 250 cm³ mechanical base and the Bluetooth connectivity package, but with a visual update that becomes the main differentiator of the model year: the new color Atacama Brown (Metallic Brown).

The suggested retail price for the motorcycle is R$ 29,290, excluding freight, and the reported warranty is four years.

The introduction of the brown tone expands the options offered to consumers and joins the already known shades of the model, such as Titanium Grey (Matte Gray), Amazon Green (Matte Green), and Racing Blue (Metallic Blue).

With this, the Lander Connected 2026 arrives in the market without project changes in the engine and chassis, but reinforcing the identity aimed at mixed use and everyday life.

Still in the commercial context, the Lander maintained a relevant presence in the trail segment, driven by a combination of maintenance considered accessible within the category standard and a set of equipment aimed at those who also use the motorcycle for urban commuting.

The original text attributes to Fenabrave a total of 42,842 units registered in 2025, a number that would help explain the maintenance of the strategy for 2026.

Atacama Brown Color Expands Options and Reinforces Adventurous Proposal

The arrival of Atacama Brown repositioned the aesthetic appeal of the Lander Connected 2026 without altering the model’s proposal.

Yamaha bets on a shade aligned with the adventurous imagination and, at the same time, different from the more common standard of grays, greens, and blues that dominate the motorcycle market in the segment.

Meanwhile, the other colors remain as an option for those who prefer matte or metallic finishes in already established catalog combinations.

In practice, the update focuses on appearance, preserving the graphic set and the characteristic silhouette of the Lander.

Movable LED Headlight and DRL Define the Front of the Lander 2026

The style highlight remains concentrated in the front, with a bifunctional LED projector headlight and integrated daytime running light in the upper fender.

This set, in addition to defining the visual “signature” of the Connected version, brings a feature that catches attention in everyday use: the movable optic block, which follows the movements of the handlebars.

When riding, the expected effect is to better direct the beam of light during maneuvers and turns, as the illumination points where the front wheel is being directed.

In low-light situations and during quick trajectory changes, this type of solution aims to improve the pilot’s reading of the path without relying solely on the fixed alignment of the headlight in relation to the chassis.

Digital Dashboard with Bluetooth and Y-Connect App in Daily Life

The Lander Connected 2026 maintains a fully digital dashboard in blackout style, with readings prioritizing contrast and riding information.

The set works integrated with the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect app, known as Y-Connect, which allows pairing via Bluetooth with the phone.

With the motorcycle connected, the rider can monitor data related to average consumption, trip logs, and reminders associated with the maintenance schedule through the system.

Additionally, the app includes features that compare riding efficiency indicators, such as the ECO ranking, and also displays smartphone information like call and message alerts, battery level, and the last recorded location at the time of pairing.

For those who use the motorcycle daily, the 12V socket positioned above the dashboard expands the possibility of recharging devices during the ride.

This tends to be especially useful during longer trips, when navigation apps and constant screen use quickly impact the cellphone battery.

250 cm³ Engine, Power and Torque Maintained in the 2026 Line

In terms of mechanics, the Lander Connected 2026 continues with the 250 cm³ engine that already equips the line, associated with a five-speed gearbox.

According to the technical data reported in the original text, the engine delivers 20.9 hp at 8,000 rpm and 2.1 kgf.m at 6,000 rpm, numbers that support mixed use, focusing on acceleration and predictable handling both in urban traffic and on road stretches.

The maintenance of the engine indicates continuity of the package already known to the consumer, without a proposal for increased performance for the 2026 line.

Instead, Yamaha preserves a set aimed at reliability and everyday use, betting on a combination of equipment and pricing positioning to keep the product competitive.

Long-Travel Suspension and Disc Brakes with ABS in the Front

The chassis also remains unchanged structurally.

In the front, the suspension maintains a telescopic fork with 220 mm of travel, while the rear uses the Monocross with link system, with 204 mm of travel, a typical configuration for a trail that needs to handle uneven asphalt, dirt roads, and urban potholes without requiring stiffer handling.

In terms of brakes, the model continues with discs on both wheels and ABS acting in the front, aiming to reduce the chance of locking during harder braking, especially in low-grip situations.

This set reinforces the mixed-use profile and the intention to cater to those looking for a motorcycle for work and commuting as well as those intending to tackle secondary roads and unpaved stretches.

Suggested Price, Four-Year Warranty, and Fixed-Price Reviews

Yamaha positions the Lander Connected 2026 with a suggested retail price of R$ 29.290, excluding freight, maintaining a pricing strategy aligned with the segment.

The brand also reports a four-year warranty and the offering of a fixed-price review program, items that weigh in the purchasing decision for those who consider ownership costs in the medium term.

On the other hand, the final price to the consumer may vary according to local taxes, freight costs, and dealership practices, as the reported price is presented as a reference.

Still, the announced level serves as a positioning signal for the start of sales and tends to guide direct comparison with other entry-level and medium-displacement trails.

With the novelty concentrated on the color and the maintenance of the mechanical and technological set, the Lander Connected 2026 arrives as a timely update to maintain its presence in the market; in the current scenario, to what extent do connectivity and lighting equipment remain decisive for those choosing a 250 cm³ trail?
