Honda Motorcycles launches a new innovative model, positioning itself to lead the market. The motorcycle, sold for R$7, offers an exceptional 10-year warranty for customers.

This year, Honda introduced a new motorcycle model to the Indian market with an innovative proposal, aiming to attract a greater number of customers. The highlight of the motorcycle, called SP160, and the extended warranty of up to 10 years, a notable difference in the segment. This model, with its 160 cylinders, is similar to the CG160, popular in the Brazilian market, but is distinguished by its more modern lines and a series of additional features, promising to be an attractive option for motorcycle enthusiasts.

Get to know Honda's new motorcycle better

According to data from the manufacturer, Honda's new motorcycle, in addition to having an LED headlight and flashlight, ABS brakes and a digital panel, also has a few more advantages that are worth checking out. A SP160 It has a 162,7 cm³ single-cylinder engine working together with a 5-speed gearbox, delivering a configuration similar to that of the CG 160, but with one difference, the use of gasoline and the delivery of torque is lower, being 13,2 hp at 7.500 rpm and 1,48 kgfm at 5.500 revolutions versus 15,1 horsepower and 1,54 kgfm delivered by the flex used in the CG160.

A In principle, there is no indication that the new Honda motorcycle will come to Brazil, since the Honda Motorcycles model was developed with the aim of being sold in the country of India, however, it would be a great option to replace the CG160, since in terms of safety, for example, there are two brake options, which is the single disc, which has a 276 mm disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear, the other is dual disc, there are discs on both wheels, one 276 mm at the front and 220 mm at the rear tire, both have ABS.

Honda Motorcycle model sells for R$7

The design of Honda's new motorcycle is more detailed and has a slightly more sporty fairing, different from the simple CG. Even the pillion grab handle has a slightly more redesigned design. Its wheels have 80/100 R17 tires at the front and 130/70 R17 at the rear. Your tank can hold up to 12 L.

An interesting highlight is that Honda Motorcycles has kept the pedal start system on the vehicle. This is a common feature in the Indian market, in addition to the electric start.

As for the price, in India, the new Honda motorcycle is around 117.500 rupees, which in conversion to our currency is something around R$7 thousand, a very good value for money if one considers that the SP160 is very similar to the Brazilian CG160. The warranty is 3 years and can be extended for another 7 years if the customer chooses this option.

Honda's rival brings affordable models to the market

Honda is well known for being one of the largest vehicle manufacturers and one of the most loved in Brazil. However, the cheapest motorcycle belongs to its rival, shineray, with the Worker 125 model. According to data, the model is priced at R$ 8.490, delivering a 123,67 cm³ engine, 7,2 horsepower and 0,80 kgfm torque, being a vehicle that can achieve a large public.

The advantages don't stop there, extending to the 4-speed mechanical transmission, disc brakes at the front and drums at the rear. In addition, Honda's rival model also has an electric start and pedal. Originally presented in 2021, the model costs around R$8.490, making it a great alternative.
