In 2024, the company moved about 1.5 billion items and invested R$ 23 billion in expanding and modernizing its logistics network.
This move included automating processes, increasing storage capacity, and opening new distribution centers and regional hubs.
More recently, the fulfillment CD network was expanded, resulting in a 41% increase in total capacity compared to the previous year.
The larger scale also allowed for an approximate 8% reduction in unit shipping costs in local currency in Brazil, a result attributed to gains in operational efficiency and better utilization of installed infrastructure.
During the most recent Black Friday, Mercado Livre reported being able to deliver 80% of products sold via Fulfillment service within three days, a metric that the company aims to preserve even with the expansion of order volume.
