According to Jairo Agosta, HR manager at Marfrig, the development of future food industry professionals is closely monitored. “Through Marfrig’s Internship and Trainee Program, we encourage learning and good performance for young people who will be responsible for our tomorrow, offering not only technical knowledge but also behavioral aspects, commitment, and responsibility,” says Jairo.
“I have been part of the Marfrig team for almost seven years. I joined the company through the Trainee Program, and today I am the National Sales Manager in Food Service. There are undoubtedly many opportunities here, and the most important word during this process is dedication. Marfrig is a company that offers the opportunity to connect with all departments very easily. You learn to deal with various types of people, how to inspire them, and how to delegate tasks,” says Raquel Nunes, National Sales Manager at Marfrig.

Internship
Requirements: you must be a student in the penultimate or last year of courses such as Administration, Accounting and Computer Sciences, Foreign Trade, Law, Engineering — Environmental, Food, Information, Quality, Processes, Production, and Chemical — Statistics, Journalism, Marketing, Veterinary Medicine, Psychology, Advertising and Propaganda, and Animal Science.
The position will be at the corporate office — located in São Paulo — and the program has a maximum duration of two years, starting in February 2022. Benefits include: a scholarship of 2,000 reais, transportation vouchers, meal vouchers, life insurance, and vacation. To promote training, the selected young people will have the mentorship of directors in each of the areas of operation.

Trainee
Requirements: positions for those seeking their first job in the Marfrig 2022 Trainee Program are intended for recent graduates (up to two years after graduation) in the fields of Business Administration, Accounting, and Economic Sciences, Civil Engineering, Quality, Food, Processes, Production, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, and Chemical Engineering — and Veterinary Medicine.
Lasting 18 months, opportunities are available in company units spread across the country, such as Alegrete, Bagé, Pampeano/Hulha Negra, and São Gabriel in Rio Grande do Sul; Bataguassu in Mato Grosso do Sul; Chupinguaia in Rondônia; Mineiros in Goiás; Promissão in São Paulo; Pontes e Lacerda, Tangará da Serra, and Várzea Grande in Mato Grosso.
Benefits: With a start date projected for March 2022, the benefits offered are: a salary of R$6,000, transportation or shuttle vouchers, food vouchers or basic baskets, meals on-site, life insurance, and health and dental care plans.
Participants in the Trainee Program will undergo immersion in areas of knowledge (Quality, Industry, and Engineering and Maintenance) and, after this period, will present a project for improvements and innovations in the areas.
