Baldan and NEXAT Launch Unprecedented Module for the Monster Machine in Brazil, Combining Technology and Efficiency to Revolutionize Planting in Agribusiness.
Baldan, a reference in Brazilian agribusiness, formed a strategic alliance in 2025 with the German company NEXAT to develop an exclusive planting module for the national market. The innovation will be integrated into the autonomous platform known as “Monster Machine,” promising to transform agricultural mechanization in the country.
The official announcement was made this year, following successful tests conducted at Fazenda Bananal, in Luís Eduardo Magalhães (BA), one of Brazil’s largest agricultural hubs.
The new solution combines Baldan’s century-long experience with NEXAT’s advanced technologies, focusing on operational efficiency, scalability, and high performance in the field.

Two years after the floods, Rio Grande do Sul still has ghost villages, uprooted houses, and families in containers with sewage; unfulfilled promises without official response and donations become the last chance to start over.

With around 6,000 residents on a single 9 km street, a village in Poland maintains a strong sense of community, cultivates strawberries and potatoes, and becomes the target of a false image created by artificial intelligence.

Without help and without heavy machinery, a woman builds a house from scratch with stone, wood, and cement, erects a chimney, creates a complete leisure area, and transforms an empty lot into her dream home.
The project arises as a direct response to the increasing demand for automation and productivity in the sector, especially in light of climatic challenges and the need to reduce production costs with precision and sustainability.
How Does the Monster Machine Work?
The so-called Monster Machine, as the NEXAT platform is known, is an autonomous and modular agricultural equipment.
This means it can adapt to different implements, according to the needs of the crops.
The planting module developed by Baldan fits this logic: it is attached to NEXAT’s Seed Hopper and has been specifically designed for the soils and conditions of Brazil.

Here are some highlights of the technology:
Planting width of 14 to 28 meters;
Capacity for up to 72 rows with a spacing of 38.1 cm;
Electric motors with line-by-line cutting;
Pantographic system with individual hydraulic pressure.
In addition, operational preparation takes only 10 minutes and can be done via remote control, without the need for tools.
Impressive Capacity and Night Operation
The NEXAT Monster Machine equipped with the Baldan module promises to plant up to 500 hectares per day. This is only possible thanks to its high autonomy, with tanks capable of holding:
- 15,000 liters of seeds
- 9,000 liters of inoculants
- 1,600 liters for fine seeds
Another important differential is its ability to operate at night, which significantly expands the planting window.

In cooler temperatures, the equipment’s performance is enhanced, ensuring better seed placement and precise application of bioinputs.
Why Is This Partnership Strategic for Brazilian Agribusiness?
According to Fernando Capra, CEO of Baldan, the partnership with NEXAT marks a technological shift in the sector.
“NEXAT found in Baldan not only a company with a solid tradition and robust manufacturing structure, with three production facilities, but also a partner with deep knowledge of Brazilian planting and soil conditions,” he says.
For NEXAT, this union is essential to adapt its technology to the South American market.
“We chose Baldan for its legacy of nearly a century developing robust agricultural solutions and for its innovative capacity aligned with Brazilian demands,” says Felix Kalverkamp, CEO of NEXAT.
Baldan’s expertise in developing agricultural implements for the national soil is crucial for the project’s success.
The expectation is that this union will result in greater productivity with fewer resources, meeting the needs of large rural producers and contributing to the future of precision agriculture in Brazil.
Inside the Differentials of Baldan’s Module in the Monster Machine
The system created by Baldan for the NEXAT platform stands out for:
- Extreme Precision: variation coefficient below 20% at speeds of up to 14 km/h
- Speed in Operation: module exchange and preparation in less than 10 minutes
- Versatility: accommodates different types of crops and terrains
- Sustainability: reduces waste with efficient input application
With this, producers now have a powerful tool to increase productivity and profitability without compromising sustainability.
The partnership between Baldan and NEXAT, symbolized by the Monster Machine, represents much more than a new technology.
It opens a new chapter in the history of agricultural mechanization in Brazil.
With high performance, operational intelligence, and adaptation to local realities, this innovation can redefine agribusiness standards in the coming years.
The era of smart machines has arrived in the field — and Brazil is at the center of this transformation.
Baldan and NEXAT: Tradition Side by Side
Founded nearly 100 years ago, Baldan stands out as one of the leaders in agricultural equipment production in the country.
NEXAT, based in Germany, has been gaining global ground with its modular and automated machine platform.
The Monster Machine, a symbol of this collaboration, reflects a new era in Brazilian agriculture: more connected, efficient, and ready for the challenges of the next decade.

Valeu senhora escravocrata, a ignorância é realmente o mal do século.
