Price of the Honda Motorcycle, Leader in Sales Among Delivery Riders, Sees Significant Adjustment

Honda announced an adjustment in the prices of the CG 160 line, the best-selling motorcycle in Brazil since 1976. In the first six months of 2024 alone, 224,381 units of this motorcycle were sold. Honda CG 160 Titan Saw The Highest Increase

The top-of-the-line version, Honda CG 160 Titan, saw the highest increase, rising from R$ 16,760 to R$ 17,440, an increase of R$ 680. The intermediate and best-selling version, CG 160 Fan, went up from R$ 15,444 to R$ 16,070, a difference of R$ 626. Even the CG 160 Cargo, widely used by delivery professionals, had an adjustment of R$ 310, going from R$ 15,660 to R$ 15,970. The entry-level configuration, CG 160 Start, now has a starting price of R$ 14,650, R$ 568 higher than the previous price.

Why Is The CG 160 So Popular?

The Honda motorcycle CG 160 doesn’t lead the market for nothing. With a single-cylinder flex engine delivering 15.1 hp of power and 1.54 kgfm of torque in the Cargo, Fan, and Titan versions, and 14.9 hp and 1.4 kgfm in the Start version (gasoline only), it combines reliability, performance, and tough-to-beat cost-effectiveness. Additionally, the presence of a disc brake at the front in the more expensive versions and the well-structured network of dealerships ensure effective after-sales service.
