Contracts with Petrobras
The drilling rig Ocean Rig Mykonos was awarded by Petrobras a contract for 550 days plus an option period of 815 days in Brazil. The contract will run from November 2019 until May 2021 at a day rate of US $ 215,000.

Additionally, Petrobras granted a contract for 629 days, plus an option period of 680 days for the drillship Ocean Rig Corcovado. The daily rate for the equipment is US $ 195,000, and the contract will last from November 2019 until May 2021.
Other Operators
According to the fleet status report, ExxonMobil exercised a six-month option offshore Equatorial Guinea for the semi-submersible drilling rig Development Driller III. This option is scheduled to end in February 2020. The daily rate for the equipment is US $ 192,000.
Lundin exercised an option for one well in the Norwegian North Sea for the semi-sub Leiv Eiriksson – which Transocean acquired through the acquisition of Ocean Rig. This is scheduled to expire in June 2019. Lundin has options until October 2019, after which the rig is ready to work for ConocoPhillips.
The Italian oil company Eni exercised two options for one well in Angola for the drillship Ocean Rig Poseidon. The option is set to expire in July this year.
The semi-submersible drilling rig Transocean Leader received a one-well contract in the UK North Sea from Premier Oil. The contract will run from March to June 2020.
Shell awarded a contract for six offshore wells in Malaysia with the semi-submersible Deepwater Nautilus. The contract will start in May and is expected to end in January 2020.
The Deepwater Asgard rig won a contract for two wells in the Gulf of Mexico with Murphy Oil. The contract starts in May and will end in August 2019.
