Acelen, an energy company that owns the Mataripe Refinery, and the National Service for Industrial Learning of Bahia (Senai Bahia) are open for registration in a selection process aimed at the professional training of Oil Refinery Operators. The institutions announced the partnership contracts on the morning of Tuesday (5), aimed at professional training and technological innovation.
350 Available Positions in the Acelen and Senai Bahia Selection Process
The professional training offered by the owner of the Mataripe Refinery will last for 216 hours. A total of 350 spots are being made available by Senai Bahia, with training taking place at the Senai Candeias, Cimatec (Piatã), and Lauro de Freitas units.
Registrations are completely free and must be made exclusively online through the Senai Bahia website. Registrations will be open from 2 PM on July 5 until 6 PM on July 15.

The announcement and signing of contracts were made by Luiz de Mendonça and the CEO of Acelen and Ricardo Alban, president of the Federation of Industries of the State of Bahia (FIEB), at the Senai Cimatec headquarters, located on Avenida Orlando Gomes in Salvador.
The first contract will be aimed at training operation and maintenance technicians for privatized refining and will receive investments of R$ 4.6 million. The first notice was opened last Tuesday (05), and another notice will be launched next month, providing 30 spots for maintenance training. The training will be conducted by Senai Bahia.

The second contract, which will receive R$ 4 million in investments over a period of 3 years, will focus on innovation and technology aimed at creating solutions with a significant impact on industrial competitiveness and resource efficiency.
The innovations will be created by Senai Cimatec with the participation of Acelen. According to Luiz de Mendonça, the owner of the Mataripe refinery is here to stay and to collaborate directly with the economic and social advancement of Bahia, always focusing on the future, and for this, it is necessary to train a workforce through professional training to work in the refining and oil sector, which demands specialized technical performance.
According to Ricardo Alban, Senai is pleased with the partnership, as it recognizes the skills that the institution possesses and develops to support the Bahian industry.
