About the Enterprise of Aeris Energy, Under Construction, in the State of Ceará
The new facility is expected to have an area of more than 35,000 square meters to support the “flow of construction and delivery of blades” of Aeris Energy. The forecast is that the company will inaugurate the enterprise still in the second half of this year. However, the company has not confirmed the amount that will be invested in the equipment.
The construction process of the distribution center is progressing in parallel with the expansion of Aeris Energy’s manufacturing park in Ceará, which is expected to bring an increase of 51,000 square meters.

New Investments and Projects of the Company
The company, through its advisory, states that they are making progress with the expansion of the manufacturing park, which brings an increase of 51,000 square meters. According to Aeris Energy, they are practically completing the investment cycle in expansion, and in the first quarter of 2021, they invested more than R$ 176 million. The company reported that they should soon reach a productive capacity of 9 GW and will have building infrastructure to manufacture blades over 100 meters, the company says.
The note released by Aeris Energy also emphasizes that the expectation is to continue expanding the manufacturing park, with the construction of new plants. “We invested in the purchase of more land around our headquarters and increased from 320,000 square meters to over 1 million square meters at this site,” the company reported.

The Brazilian multinational Aeris Energy announced that it has plans to enter the offshore wind energy market by 2025. The announcement was made on 05/20 by Bruno Lolli, Director of Planning and Investor Relations of the Brazilian wind turbine blade manufacturer. The company’s plans aim to enhance the offshore plant market in the United States (where they plan to install 30 gigawatts of this source by 2030) and also in Brazil, which currently has no wind energy projects in this segment.
According to Bruno Lolli, the global offshore wind energy market represents less than 10% of the total installations from clients in the segment. The Director of Planning and Investor Relations at Aeris Energy stated that almost all blades destined for this market are produced by the generators themselves, but soon the segment will demand a greater volume of deliveries, which should force turbine manufacturing companies to outsource part of the production.
Bruno also stated that with this strong growth of the offshore wind energy segment, particularly in the northeastern United States, Aeris Energy is set to enter this market in the next 3 to 4 years. It was also noted that it is not the company’s intention to become a wind turbine manufacturer or to verticalize in the production chain, but it intends to develop blades over 100 meters.
