E-J7 Electric Sedan Promises To Arrive In The Brazilian Market With The Price Of A Car With Internal Combustion Engine
Since Monday (8), the pre-sale of the E-J7 electric sedan has been taking place, and what has been questioned the most is the price of the car. JAC promised that its electric car will have the same price as its internal combustion engine competitors. The management of the automaker also made a point to expose which are the main cars it intends to surpass in the race for a good position on the podium of the market.
Among the models are the Audi A5 Sportback Prestige Plus, which goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds, the BMW 320i GP, which has a 184 hp engine and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds, and finally, the Honda Accord Hybrid, which also has a 184 hp engine and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. The current market ‘darlings’ cost between R$ 280 thousand and R$ 311 thousand.
The JAC E-J7 will cost only R$ 259.9 thousand, having a single lineage. According to Sérgio Habib, president of the automaker, he spoke about a problem faced by many automakers: the price of the vehicle used to be a prohibitive item for high-end sales of electric car models, however, the E-J7 will not face this problem.
JAC Motors Is A Reference In The World Of Electric Cars
JAC Motors has become a global reference in the electric car sector over the years. Sérgio Habib highlighted that for the JAC electric sedan to travel 402 km, it requires only 50.1 kWh of battery, which impacts the weight of the car, which is low and is practically the same weight as its main competitors with internal combustion engines.
Furthermore, Habib also spoke about the acceleration of the vehicle, which is vigorous. The E-J7 is undoubtedly an excellent and autonomous electric sedan.
