Speaking of Agribusiness in Brazil, one cannot fail to mention Alysson Paolinelli de Bambuy, who was Minister of Agriculture in the Geisel government from 1974 to 1979. In just five years, it was enough to provoke radical changes in Brazilian agriculture.
Paolinelli’s leadership in Brazilian agriculture, and more specifically in his five years of history, created an endless encyclopedia of teachings that will remain forever in the field and will never be forgotten thanks to the advances put into practice, and today and always will occupy the daily lives of people around the world.
The turning point of agriculture in Brazilian agribusiness. Agriculture has become “agribusiness”, but the producers themselves, who take pride in what they do, prefer to value their language and no one uses a word other than AGRIBUSINESS nowadays.
The sector contributes nearly 30% to the country’s GDP, sustains 20 million jobs, and offers a large number of recruiters in various regions to find workers in demand. Today, hoes and wheelbarrows are almost extinct in agriculture. These are job opportunities that offer good remuneration and qualification conditions.

Alone, the producer applies 7,400 hectares with the T100 drone in an optimized structure, replaces the generator with a silent battery, and demonstrates how technology reduces costs, increases productivity, and even challenges the uniport in the field.
-
China banned the export of 22 tons of meat from Argentina.
-
JBS, founded by the Batista brothers, continues to conquer the world: entrepreneurs built a ‘factory in the desert’ creating 3,000 jobs.
-
With only 1% of Brazil’s territory, Santa Catarina has built one of the most competitive industrial parks in the country, with 64,000 companies, nearly 1 million jobs, and a growth rate of 5.3% while the national industry is practically stagnant.
As long as the interested individual has practical technical knowledge or acquired it from a good school, there is room for everyone. Agribusiness seeks not only credentials and values, but also those who understand the subject. Therefore, we cannot question the crucial importance of agriculture for Brazil’s development.
From now on, it will not be a major automaker or an aircraft manufacturer that will be more important than the food that will be put in the mouths of the world’s population. This is the theme that revolves around the wheels of the greatest authority on earth. Everyone feels this issue in the “flesh”.
Brazilian Agribusiness and the Environment Need to Go Hand in Hand
Therefore, agriculture and the environment need to go hand in hand. We need food to survive, but a comfortable environment will allow us to live a long and peaceful life, benefiting our children and grandchildren. There are bad professionals in all areas. How many scandals have we seen in the medical world, corrupt senior politicians, football, schools, targeting blacks and women, and not far from families.
Why do some people who travel the agricultural business road not make mistakes or even absurdities? Of course, it exists, and it needs to be corrected and even punished! Smuggling of pesticides, deforestation, land grabbing, and illegal mining are hidden from the sky!
But to put in the same boat those who made Brazil number one in the world in food and meat production is cowardly! Even with the global recession amid the pandemic and the ongoing war in Eastern Europe, we take pride in Brazil’s performance in food production for the world.
Everything that happens in the large agricultural markets has a direct impact on small producers. Inputs have no market price, a arroba of cattle, a kilo of chicken, a liter of milk, a dozen eggs are cheaper for a small child. Everyone pays the same price with the same coins! Therefore, total support for family farmers is fair and deserved! But we cannot “demonize” agribusiness as many good people want to do.
