“Paraná has been on our radar for some time and aligns with what we wanted. It is a region with a strong economy, and we will be close to major transport companies. We strongly believe in the partnership with Vendrami Stop,” says Douglas Reis, president of the Kurujão Group, which has a 30-year history, 124 active fuel stations across Brazil, and another 11 under construction.
“The Vendrami Stop will be managed like a shopping mall, with maintenance, security, and lighting. All entrepreneurs share the same structure and split costs, allowing them to focus exclusively on their activities. So, it will be the best operational cost to set up a business on the road,” highlights Vinicius Vendrami Malucelli, a partner in the project with his brother Antonio Vendrami Malucelli.
More Than 20,000 Vehicles Including Truck Drivers and Travelers Pass Daily on the Highway Where the Construction Is Being Erected
Business owners expect a significant flow, as more than 20,000 vehicles pass daily on the highway where the construction is taking place. It is also worth remembering that it is on the agribusiness route – 24% of all soybean, corn, and soybean meal production passes in front of the Vendrami Stop – and tourism, being the main road intersection in the South. “It is a strategic location that will offer extensive service. In one stop, the truck driver can resolve various issues, such as: securing a freight, refueling their vehicle, purchasing accessories, buying a tire, eating, and resting,” emphasizes Vinicius.
The name of the venture is a tribute to the partners’ grandfather, Mr. Antônio Vendrami, who made the first venture on the site 40 years ago. “And we have seen for many years that there were no modern ventures on the road. As Ponta Grossa is an extremely important logistical point for Brazil, we decided to create the Vendrami Stop,” Vinicius explains. “When we decided to start this project, we opted for something innovative, different, like the stops that exist in the United States and Europe.”
Now that the pandemic scenario has become clearer, we move forward with the completion of the Vendrami Stop, whose inauguration is scheduled for May next year.
