TotalEnergies Invests in Innovation and Operational Quality at the Moho Nord Field, One of Its Most Valuable Assets in the Oil and Gas Market
The Moho Nord Field is a significant asset for Congo, representing more than half of the country’s oil production.
It is, therefore, an important venture for TotalEnergies and an example of the company seizing available opportunities in Africa.
Aker Solutions, in turn, has been present in the field since 2013, and the expansion of its presence through this new subsea equipment contract allows the company to demonstrate its long-term commitment to the region.
Furthermore, the contract with TotalEnergies will help deepen the existing technological and commercial ties between the two companies, which already have a history of successful collaboration.
According to Aker Solutions’ Executive Vice President and Head of Subsea Business, Maria Peralta, the standardized technology of the company’s subsea equipment is highly advantageous for operators.
She highlights flexibility, shorter delivery times, and increased competitiveness as some of the key benefits that standardization can bring to the industry.
“This standardized deep-water technology combines several advantages for operators, including shorter delivery times, more flexibility, and greater competitiveness — the essence of standardization and a reduced carbon footprint, thanks to its design,” she emphasized.
