The flexible loading base of Açu (Baçu) will be installed in an area of 160 m², will have the capacity to store more than 500 spools of up to 400 t and will be equipped with four berths for support vessels.
BAÇU occupies more than 160 square meters of area in the Port of Açu, and will be the largest flex-fuel logistics base in the world!
Aliseo will support loading, unloading, moving, controlling, transporting and storing spools, trams and flexible submarine accessories used by the state-owned company in the pre-salt fields.
Renowned oil companies TechnipFMC and NOV also have flexible line bases in Açu, but these are their own units, not available to other suppliers.
“We are not manufacturers, but logistics service providers. So, we want to make an open base for the general market that everyone can use”, said Aliseo's director, Leandro Cariello.
“Other players with projects in the Campos basin will also need a support base to leave the coils deposited, carry out maintenance, disposal and cleaning. Our target is oil and EPC companies, some of which do not have their own base,” said Cariello.
