Aliseo Will Support Loading, Handling, Transportation, and Storage Operations, Among Others, Used by the State-Owned Company in the Pre-Salt Fields
Hundreds of Job Openings Are Coming in São João da Barra! Aliseo, a Brazilian energy, engineering, infrastructure, and services company engaged in logistics and oil and gas markets, will invest 500 million reais (US$ 95 million) in an offshore logistics base at the Açu port in the State of Rio de Janeiro. The Fluminense government reported yesterday (10/20).
Initially, the project at the largest port-industrial complex in Latin America will focus on the storage, handling, and loading operations of subsea flexible pipes that connect oil and gas wells to production platforms.
Later, the company intends to meet the demands of offshore wind projects that are expected to begin operations in the next decade.

Renowned Oil Companies TechnipFMC and NOV Also Have Flexible Pipe Bases at Açu, But They Are Proprietary Units, Not Available for Other Suppliers.
“We Are Not Manufacturers, But Logistics Service Providers. We Want to Create an Open Base for the General Market That Everyone Can Use,” Said Aliseo’s Director, Leandro Cariello.
“Other Players with Projects in the Campos Basin Will Also Need a Support Base to Store Reels, Make Maintenance, Disposal, and Cleaning. Our Target Is Oil and EPC Companies, Some of Which Do Not Have Their Own Base,” Said Cariello.
