Gasoline Becomes More Expensive in the Fluminense Capital With an Average of R$ 5,412 per Liter, According to ValeCard’s Survey
At the beginning of June, gasoline prices in Rio de Janeiro experienced a slight increase of 0.24%, with the average cost per liter at R$ 5,412. Between May 29 and June 4, there was a small jump compared to the previous week, which had an average value of R$ 5,399 per liter. The analysis was performed exclusively by ValeCard, a company specializing in fleet management.
Price Variation in the Neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro
When observing the wonderful city, we notice that gasoline prices fluctuated significantly between neighborhoods, reaching a variation of up to 23.2%. Castelo topped the list of the most expensive neighborhoods, with an average price of R$ 6,093 per liter. Flamengo and Urca also appeared among the most expensive, with averages of R$ 5,727 and R$ 5,690, respectively.
On the other hand, Santíssimo stood out for offering the cheapest gasoline in the city, costing R$ 4,945. Other neighborhoods like Irajá and Méier also presented more accessible prices, with values of R$ 5,082 and R$ 5,119, respectively.
