The Technology Adopted By The Beverage Giant Will Make Brahma Beers Creamier And Lighter. The Product Will Be Sold Exclusively By Zé Delivery
Ambev, the largest beverage company in Brazil, brings a novelty for those who want to enjoy a cold Brahma draft beer at home: the draft beer in a can that arrives cold at your home. The product, a result of technology developed by the company, will be delivered to customers via the Zé Delivery app, which already distributes beverages across the country, according to the website O Globo.
Much more than a simple launch, Ambev faced an important challenge to bring Brahma draft beer in a can to the market through technology. Unlike beer, draft beer is not pasteurized, which makes it difficult to maintain the creamy foam and flavor of the drink. The solution found by Ambev’s Technological Innovation Center, located in Rio de Janeiro, was to combine formulas, technology, and ingredients such as logistics and temperature to ensure that Brahma draft beer arrives cold and with a frothy head at the customer’s home.
Brahma draft beer in a can with Ambev’s technology will initially be sold in some neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro, such as Botafogo, Flamengo, Méier, and Jacarepaguá. Ambev plans to bring this Brahma novelty to other states, starting with the Southeast, in the next two months, but logistics is an important factor to consider.

Aluminum Packaging On The Rise
Brahma draft beer in a can is part of Ambev’s strategy to increasingly invest in aluminum packaging, as the circular recycling chain in Brazil is more developed than that of plastic. Aluminum packaging has a more effective circular return, which contributes to environmental sustainability.
Innovation In Favor Of Safety
Ambev continues to innovate. In addition to Brahma draft beer in a can, the company recently presented at Web Summit the Flow Voice technology, which identifies whether a person is intoxicated by the user’s voice. The technology was created by Ambev to help consumers drink in moderation and thus avoid accidents. Ambev is in talks with transportation and car rental platforms to implement the system as a safety measure for drivers.
The future looks promising for Ambev. The company continues to invest in technology and sustainability to provide consumers with an increasingly better experience and at the same time contribute to a better world across all its brands, including Brahma. Stay tuned for updates!
