Constellation Won Million-Dollar Contract from Petrobras for Chartering the Drillship Amaralina Star for a Project That Will Involve Drilling 27 New Oil Wells

The bidding was launched at the end of March, however, the exact contract value is kept confidential, with the daily rate ranging between US$ 200 thousand/day and US$ 300 thousand/day.

The charter of the drillship Amaralina Star will serve a project that will involve drilling 27 new oil wells. The system is being developed in partnership with Equinor, a strategic partner of the asset, with an expected operational start in mid-2024.

After the completion of the BM-S-11 contract, the Constellation unit will undergo minor adaptations to meet the required operational demands for Roncador.
