International Expansion And Ambitious Revenue Goals
AQTech, a renowned Brazilian predictive technology company in the energy sector, is accelerating its internationalization towards Europe and Asia, aiming to more than double its revenue in the next four years. With an established presence in over 12GW of monitored installed capacity, the Florianópolis-based company plans to increase its annual revenue from R$ 40 million to an impressive R$ 100 million by 2027. This significant leap is the result of expanding its international business, which is expected to represent 30% of the company’s earnings by 2027.
Growth Strategy And International Partnerships
AQTech has established an operational base in Porto, Portugal, as part of its expansion strategy in Eurasia. The choice of Portugal is due to its strategic position and cultural and linguistic similarities with Brazil. Thiago Kleis, Global Sales Executive at AQTech, emphasizes the importance of already consolidated partnerships in countries such as Portugal, France, Spain, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The company already has eight active partners in Latin America and seven across Europe and Asia, as well as advanced prospecting in Italy, India, Switzerland, and Norway.
First Asian Contract And Focus On Hydropower
An important milestone in AQTech’s international journey was signing its first contract in Asia, to supply power generation monitoring equipment for the Tanggari 2 Hydroelectric Power Plant in Indonesia. In addition to the Asian market, the company is also focused on hydroelectric plants in Europe, aiming to leverage the continent’s increasing investment in green energy and its goal of zero CO2 emissions by 2050.
