Arauco offers vacancies with free course for drivers with CNH D, with funded training and real chance of employment until 2027.

A new opportunity for professional qualification promises to change the reality of workers in Mato Grosso do Sul. Arauco, in partnership with the state government and SEST SENAT, announced the opening of vacancies for a free course aimed at training drivers to obtain CNH D, with a start scheduled for May 2026, in Três Lagoas. The initiative seeks to meet the growing demand from the company, which is building a factory in Inocência and needs qualified labor to operate from 2027.

The project was officially announced on March 27 and plans to train 200 professionals in the first stage. Additionally, the program offers complete training at no cost, an upgrade of the driver’s license category, and even financial benefits for approved participants, increasing real employability chances.

Arauco creates vacancies with free course for drivers

The partnership between Arauco, SEST SENAT, and the state government was designed to solve a common challenge in the sector: the lack of qualified professionals. Thus, new vacancies arise with a focus on practical and targeted training.

The difference lies in the format of the free course, which not only teaches but also prepares the candidate to enter the job market directly. Therefore, those who complete the training leave with a significant competitive advantage.

Moreover, the initiative reinforces Arauco’s commitment to investing in local training and the economic development of the region.

Demand for drivers with CNH D reaches 1,400 vacancies

The need for professionals is significant. According to company representatives, the operation will require about 1,400 drivers just for wood transportation.

These workers will operate in shifts, as the factory will run continuously. Thus, the creation of these vacancies meets a real and urgent demand.

Initially, the focus is on training 200 professionals. However, the expectation is that new classes will be opened as needed until the start of operations, scheduled for 2027.

How does Arauco’s free course work?

The free course offered by Arauco aims primarily to change the driver’s license category, allowing drivers to upgrade from CNH B or C to CNH D.

The training will be in-person and held in Três Lagoas, with a workload of 107 hours. During this period, participants will have access to theoretical and practical content.

Additionally, SEST SENAT will be responsible for recruiting candidates, teaching classes, and covering costs related to the category change.

Content prepares drivers for the market

During the free course, future drivers with CNH D will learn essential techniques to operate safely and efficiently.

Among the main topics are:

  • Driving category D vehicles
  • Safe and defensive driving
  • Customer service
  • Transport economy
  • Individual and collective driving practices

Thus, the student not only learns to drive larger vehicles but also develops skills valued in the job market.

Who can participate in the vacancies for CNH D?

The vacancies are intended for men and women who wish to enter the profession of drivers. However, it is necessary to meet some basic criteria.

Check the main requirements:

  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Have held a CNH category B for at least 2 years
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of safe driving
  • Be available to attend the course

Additionally, candidates must reside in Três Lagoas, where the free course will be held.

Arauco guarantees financial support and complete training

One of the most attractive points of the program is the support offered to participants. Arauco and the state government will fully fund the training.

Furthermore, approved drivers will receive a bonus scholarship at the end of the course. This incentive helps reduce financial barriers and encourages participation.

Meanwhile, SEST SENAT covers costs related to the change to CNH D, which typically represents a significant investment for the worker.

Partnership increases real chances of employment

Unlike other training programs, this initiative is already connected to the market. That is, the vacancies offered have a direct link to real job opportunities.

According to involved authorities, this model ensures that trained professionals have a higher chance of being hired. Therefore, the free course is not only educational but also strategic.

Additionally, there are examples of workers who started in operational roles and grew within the company, reaching leadership positions.

Registrations open for free driver course

Interested parties must register exclusively through the digital platform of the state qualification program. The deadline is until April 30, 2026.

As the vacancies are limited, it is recommended that candidates do not wait until the last minute. After all, this is a concrete opportunity to enter an expanding sector.
