The inauguration of the new production line will increase the unit’s capacity in double digits. The factory, which was purchased by Arcor in 2004, has the capacity to produce about 1.5 million cookies per day and still uses about 32 thousand tons of flour per year in the production process. It is important to emphasize that the company’s investment will create hundreds of jobs in the state.

The products from the factory, which promises to create hundreds of new jobs, meet the demand of the Brazilian market and 30 other countries around the world. According to Anderson Freire, the Marketing, Research, and Development Director of Arcor Brazil, cookies are a food item that is present in almost every Brazilian household and evokes diverse nostalgic memories.
The category represents about 50% of Arcor’s business in Brazil.
