Banrisul Is Holding a New Selection Process with Hundreds of Internship Openings for Candidates Residing in RS. The Unpaid Positions Are Available for Students from Various Courses.
Students residing in Rio Grande do Sul will now have a great chance for professional advancement, as a new selection process by Banrisul is offering 900 internship openings focused on recruiting students from various higher education courses. The unpaid positions at Banrisul are available for several courses, divided into 13 groups.
Requirements Set by Banrisul for Its Internship Selection Process
The accepted courses for unpaid positions in RS are divided into 13 groups, such as Group I, which consists of courses in Administration, Economics, and Accounting. In this group, both technological and undergraduate degrees are accepted. Below, we have separated a list of all groups along with their respective courses and number of openings:
- Group I – Administration, Economics, and Accounting (868 openings);
- Group II – Social and Legal Sciences (Law) (11 openings);
- Group III – Architecture and Urbanism (1 opening);
- Group IV – Civil Engineering (4 openings);
- Group V – Electrical Engineering (1 opening);
- Group VI – Electronic Engineering (1 opening);
- Group VII – Mechanical Engineering (1 opening);
- Group VIII – Production Engineering (reserve list);
- Group IX – Agronomy, Forestry Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, and Environmental Engineering (15 openings);
- Group X – Statistics, Actuarial Science, and Mathematics (4 openings);
- Group XI – Cinema, Audiovisual Production, Design (6 openings);
- Group XII – Journalism (3 openings);
- Group XIII – Advertising and Propaganda (3 openings).
Those interested in the unpaid positions at Banrisul must be at least 16 years old, be enrolled in a Higher Education course recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), possess a Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas (CPF) registration, be active in a Higher Education course recognized by the MEC, and be enrolled in the specified semester for each course according to the notice.

Registrations for Banrisul’s Selection Process Take Place Online
Registrations will be conducted exclusively online, from May 24 to June 5, through the CIEE website.
Therefore, it is necessary to register on the platform to participate in Banrisul’s selection process. At the time of registration, the candidate must indicate the municipality where they wish to do the internship, according to the options in the notice. To register on the CIEE RS Portal and apply for the Selection Process, interested individuals must follow all the procedures indicated on the website.
The internship has a workload of 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with starting salaries from R$ 1,800 plus transportation aid.
According to the company, Banrisul is a medium-sized bank with regional operations focused on retail, providing its millions of corporate and individual clients with an extensive portfolio of products and services offered through the largest service network in southern Brazil.
Internship Salaries and Benefits in RS
The amount to be paid to those accepted for the unpaid positions at Banrisul is R$ 1,859.40 during the first 90 days of the internship and, thereafter, R$ 2,036.79 per month. These amounts are linked to the minimum wage set by the Bankers’ Collective Agreement.
Interns will also receive transportation assistance of R$ 88 per month while actively participating in the internship, to be paid along with the internship stipend for the period. Additionally, those accepted in RS will be insured against personal accidents during the term of the Banrisul Internship Commitment Agreement.
